DECEMBER HEARTFELT CREATIONS ALUMNI DESIGN TEAM BLOG HOP

Today is the last Tuesday of the month and that means it is time for Heartfelt Creations Alumni Design Team Monthly Blog Hop.  You should have arrived here from Alissa Wells Blog.

To create this beautiful Key and Roses Card I used  Heartfelt Creations HCPC 3571 - Keys and Roses PreCut Set and design paper from Heartfelt Creations HCDP1 238 - Floral Key Paper Collection.

I stamped the image from HCPC 3571 - Keys and Roses PreCut Set with Memento Ink on Cryogen White Paper that had been die cut with Spellbinders Oval Small and colored it with Copics.  I added Gazelle Ultrafine Art Glitter to the Roses on the stamped image and also on the roses on the design paper with Art Institute Dries Clear Adhesive.  I then stamped the keys from HCPC 3569 - Burnished Key PreCut Set and die cut using HCD 741 - Burnished Key Die and colored the coordinating key with Copics before adding it to the colored image with pop dots. I matted the entire image on  blue Bazzill cardstock that had been die cut with Spellbinders Floral Ovals.  I then adhered it to the card front with pop dots.

Finally I added  Want2Scrap 2 Cute Bling Brackets by Nina Brackett to the corners of the card.

HAVE A HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Today on the Want2Scrap Blog I am sharing a Happy New Year Card that I created that uses Want2Scrap Baby Bling Rhinestones in Silver.  The Happy New Year Stamp on this card is from Taylored Expressions and I colored it with Copics.

In the glass I added Art Glitter Vintage Glass Glitter in Rosebud with Art Institute Dries Clear Adhesive.  Of course, the Silver Want2Scrap Baby Bling Rhinestones were the perfect accent for the bubbles!

I used a combination of design paper from Best Creations and Bella Blvd, and I matted the image that had been stamped on Cryogen White Paper onto green Bazzill cardstock before adhering it to the card front.

A PLACE CALLLED HOME

I hope everyone had a Happy New Year!  Today on the Want2Scrap Blog I am sharing a New Home Card that I created featuring Angela Pruitt's Keyholes and Doorknobs and Padlocks and Keys.  I created the 6" x 6" card front from Heartfelt Creations Floral Key Paper Collection.  I then added Antique White Art Glitter to the roses on the cardstock with Art Institute Designer Dries Clear Adhesive.

With a sponge dauber I added DecoArt Metallic Lustre in Gold Rush to the Keyhole and then I added a metal brad to each hole.  For the doorknob I applied Peacock Gold DecoArt Paper Effects with a sponge dauber.  I attached the doorknob with pop dots and then added the entire piece to the card front with pop dots.

Next on Curious Iridescent - Cryogen White Paper that had been die cut with the Spellbinders Classic Ovals Small die, I stamped the sentiment from Heartfelt Creations Burnished Key Hole PreCut Set.  I then distressed the edges with Tim Holtz Antique Linen Distress Ink and added three LeCreme Pearls.  I then matted it on Heartfelt Creations Floral Key Paper that had been die cut with Spellbinders Floral Ovals.

I used two keys from Padlocks and Keys by Angela Pruitt set and painted them with DecoArt® Metallic Lustre Iced Espresso & Copper Kettle.  I then tied them with May Arts Twine and adhered them Art Glitter Designer Dries Clear Adhesive.  Finally, I added Swirls Finesse - LeCreme Pearls and that I had cut to fit before applying  to the card.

MERRY CHRISTMAS WITH LOVE!

Today I am sharing a Christmas Card I made that features Craftwork Cards Candi in Choca-a-Mocha.

The rich brown and beautiful cream color of the Choc-a-Mocha Candi are the perfect accent for my card.

Instructions:

6" x 6" Card

Begin with a 12" x 6" piece of green cardstock and score on the 6" mark to create a 6" square card base.  Next adhere a 5 3/4" square piece of design paper to the card base.  Then out of cream design paper die cut a Labels One and adhere on green cardstock die cut with Decorative Labels One.   Adhere to card front with pop dots.   With Memento Ink on Cryogen White Paper stamp birdhouse from Holiday Haven PreCut Set.  Color with Copics and detail cut out.  With Memento Ink on Cryogen White Paper stamp birdhouse from Bird Haven Set, post from Decorative Metal Fixtures Set, birds from Brookside Manor Set and poinsettias from Petite Poinsettia Set.  Color with Copics and die cut with coordinating dies.  Assemble as shown adding pop dots for dimension.  Add Crystal Glitter to the birds.  Add a Regency Dew Drop to the center of the poinsettia and Goldenberry Dew Drops to the edges of the Decorative Labels One.  Add Candi with Candi Fix to lower left corner.  Finally stamp "With Love" sentiment from Inspire Me Sentiments Set on cream design paper and matte on green cardstock and adhere to card front.

FLOWER VASE CARD WITH CANDI

Today I am sharing my Flower Vase Card that was published in the Winter 2013 issue of Designed to Color that includes the embellishment Craftwork Cards Candi.

The stamped and Copic colored image is from Heartfelt Creations, as well as the design paper.  The image is matted on Bazzill paper that has been die cut with Spellbinders Resplendent Rectangles.  I added Brown Art Glitter Gala Glitz to the center of each daisy with Art Glitter Dries Clear Glue.  The beautiful ribbon is from May Arts and the stick pins are from the Little Yellow Bicycle Hello Fall Collection.   Craftwork Card Candi in Convent Garden coordinates with the card perfectly.

A SWEET CHRISTMAS CARD

Today I am sharing my Candy Cane Christmas Card  that I made that uses Heartfelt Creations' stamps and dies and a Want2Scrap LeCreme Pearl  for the flower center.

I stamped the image from Heartfelt Creations HCPC 3558 - Striped Candy Cane PreCut Set on Cryogen White Paper that had been die cut with Spellbinders Labels Eight and colored it with Copics. Since I am making a stack of Christmas Cards, to save time I didn't do any shading with Copics.  I then matted it on Bazzill paper that had been die cut with Spellbinders Decorative Labels Eight.  The design paper on the card front is from Heartfelt Creations Frosty Blanket Paper Collection.

To make the poinsettia, I stamped the image from Heartfelt Creations HCPC 3557 - Christmas Poinsettia Set on Heartfelt Creations Frosty Blanket Paper  and die cut it with Heartfelt Creations HCD 734 - Sun Kissed Fleur Die.  I finished it by adding a Want2Scrap LeCreme Pearl to the center of the poinsettia.  I added Burgundy Stickles to the berries on the stamped image.

Finally to finish the card I added Robin's Nest Dew Drops in Goldenberry to the upper left corner of the card.  This makes a beautiful, easy 3D Christmas card.  Have a great day!

Heartfelt Creations is discontinuing some of their stamps, dies and paper collections as of December 13, 2013, including one of my favorites stamps HCPC 3439 - Flirty Fleurs PreCut Set.  I used this stamp set to create my Flirty Fleurs Card that was published in the July 4, 2012, issue of Crafts 'n Things Weekly.

Instructions:
4 1/4" x 5 1/2"

Start with a 4 1/4" x 11" piece of cream cardstock and score at the 5 1/2" mark to create an A2 card base. Next out of brown cardstock cut out the large half circle from the Layered Scalloped Posy Die. Then cut a piece of the Prima paper to 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" and adhere Layered Scalloped Posy die cut to right side with Dries Clear Adhesive and add brown satin ribbon to edge with Scor-Tape. Adhere to card base. Next with Memento Ink stamp both images from the Flirty Fleurs set on Cryogen White Paper plus stamp 8 single posies and color with Copics. Detail cut both bouquets out and use the Posy Patch Die to cut out the 8 single posies. Adhere both bouquets to card base and add 8 single posies for dimension. With Dries Clear Adhesive add Brown Gala Glitz and Tailings Elements to flower centers. With Walnut Stain Distress Ink stamps "Hugs" sentiment from the Cross & Lilies set.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING WEEKEND!

Candy here from Candy's Creations and today I am sharing a Thanksgiving Card  that I made that includes Craftwork Cards Candi.  To create the Fall tree I used  Want2Scrap® Bare Tree Stencil with DecoArt® Metallic Lustre - Iced Espresso.  To create the sky I used Salty Ocean Distress Ink and to create the grass I used Peeled Paint Distress Ink.  I added Spring Flower Soft  for the leaves on the tree and Sage Flower Soft for the grass.

For the sentiment I used Heartfelt Creations All Seasons Sentiments PreCut Set  and added  Toy Box Candi to the sentiment.

NOVEMBER HEARTFELT CREATIONS ALUMNI DESIGN TEAM BLOG HOP

To create this Christmas card I used HC Sun Kissed Fleur Tags and Basket Set along with HC Sun Kissed Fleur Set and Sun Kissed Fleur Die.  I colored the Sun Kissed Fleurs to look like poinsettias.

After I colored the image with Copics and then detail cut out the basket, I then added it to the Spellbinders Labels Four and Gold Labels Four.  I added Sun Kissed Fleurs onto the flowers in the basket for a 3-D effect.  Next I used  a Gold Viva Decor Pearl Pen in the center of each flower. 

The bling I used  is from Want2Scrap.  The Want2Scrap® Swirls Finesse - LeCreme Pearls coordinates perfectly with the vintage feel of this card.

I also detail cut out the tag from  HC Sun Kissed Fleur Tags and Basket Set and stamped the "For you at Christmas" sentiment from the Holiday Haven Set before adding it to the card front with pop dots.

FALL CARD WITH WANT2SCRAP PEARLS

Good morning everyone!  Today I am sharing my Happy Fall card that I created that uses Want2Scrap® Bulk Blink Pearls in LeCreme. I teach card classes at my local scrapbook store and Want2Scrap® Bulk Bling is perfect to use when you are making a stack of cards because you get 1/2 cup of pearls for one great price! The Fall stamped image is from Heartfelt Creations HCPC 3482 – Antique Truck PreCut Set.

I stamped the image on Cryogen White Paper that had been die cut with Spellbinders Labels Four  and then colored it with Copics.  I added Art Glitter Shell White Microfine Transparent Glitter with Art Glitter Designer Dries Clear Adhesive to the sunflower for a little extra sparkle.  I adhered the image on yellow cardstock that had been die cut with Spellbinders 5 x7  Elegant Labels Four and then threaded gingham ribbon through the elegant label. Finally I added the Want2Scrap Bulk Bling Pearls in LeCreme with Art Glitter Dries Clear Glue.

I then added the entire label, including the ribbon, to the A2 Kraft card base that had been matted with Pink Paislee Prairie Hill Country Meadow design paper.  I then finished the card by stamping the "Happy Fall" sentiment and matting it on orange cardstock and adhering it to the card with pop dots.

BEAUTIFUL PUMPKIN CARD

I love Fall!  The colors of the trees, the crisp air, pumpkin pie, pumpkin ice cream, pumpkin whoopie pies, pumpkin spice lattes. Can you tell I love anything with pumpkin?  I also love decorating and designing with pumpkins. Today I am sharing a Fall card that I designed that uses Want2Scrap®  Amber Rhinestones and Orange Rhinestones.  The design paper is from Heartfelt Creations Classic Editions Paper Collections and the stamped image is from Heartfelt Creations HCPC 3484 - Pumpkin Harvest PreCut Set.

To make the card base I followed the step by step instructions for making a Center Step Card on Splitcoast Stampers.  With Memento Ink on Cryogen White Paper that had been die cut with Spellbinders Labels 9, I stamped  the pumpkin/sunflower image and colored it with Copics.  I added coordinating ribbon around the center of the card front.  I finished the card by adding Want2Scrap®  Amber Rhinestones and Orange Rhinestones.
