Guest Designer for Divinity Designs

Hello everyone!  I am happy to announce that I am a Guest Designer for Divinity Designs formerly Our Daily Bread Designs.   I will be creating and sharing my projects from January - March.  

January's Release has some great stamps featuring fruit, a couple new stencils, an embossing folder and some new 3D dies.  My first project uses the new Fruit of the Spirit stamp set.

Ice Cream Sundae with Want2Scrap

Today I am sharing my Ice Cream Sundae Card featuring Want2Scrap Sleek Strips Rhinestones in Red and Want2Scrap Sleek Strips Rhinestones in Black. The design paper is from Heartfelt Creations Young At Heart Collection and the stamp and coordinating die is from Heartfelt Creations Berry Delicious Cling Stamp Set its coordinating Berry Cafe Die,

I die cut the the design paper using Spellbinders and sponged the edges of the blue design paper with Teal Zeal Ink.  I then adhered the design paper using pop dots and adhesive as needed.  I stamped the sundae image on white card stock with Tuxedo Black Ink and colored it with Copics.  I added Ensalada Glitter to the green stem and leaves and Pompeii Glitter to the ice cream sundae glass.  I adhered the sundae using pop dots to the center of the card front.  I adhered the sentiment as shown.  I added the Black and Red Sleek Strip Rhinestones to the design paper, as shown.  I also cut one red and one black rhinestone from each of the Sleek Strips and adhered it to the sentiment. Finally,  I finished by adhering a large Black Pearl and a large Red Pearl to the upper left hand corner.

Instructions:  Create the Paper Bag Envelop using the Spellbinders Die out of the Monkeying Around design paper.  Sponge edges of envelop with Cantaloupe Memento Ink.  Using the flower die from the Palm Tree and Monkeys Die set cut the flowers from the Monkeying Around Design Paper. On Cryogen White Paper with Tuxedo Black Ink stamp the monkey image from the Monkeying Around Cling Stamp Set.  Color with Copics and die cut with coordinating die.  With Tuxedo Black Ink on white paper stamp two bananas using the stamp from the Monkey Antics Stamp Set and die cut with coordinating die.  Using Stack and Store Daubers color bananas with Cantaloupe, Dandelion Yellow and New Sprout Memento Inks.  Die cut a piece of Cryogen White Paper with the small square from the Cut Mat Create 2A Die set and with Rich Cocoa Ink stamp the "Party" sentiment from the All Glammed Up Sentiments Set on the square.  Sponge edges of square with Olive Grove Ink and add a Sage Green Pearl to the corner.  Adhere all to the front of the Paper Bag Envelop, as shown, using pop dots and Dries Clear Adhesive as necessary.  Die cut the tag from the design paper using the Luggage and Tags Die and sponge edges with Teal Zeal Ink.  With Rich Cocoa Ink stamp the "You're Invited" sentiment from the All Glammed Up Sentiments Set on the tag.  Next die cut the green design paper using the tag from the Snow Kissed Flakes and Tag Die set and matte the monkey tag on the green tag using pop dots.  Sponge edges of green tag with Bamboo Leaves Ink.  Adhere border to the bottom of the green tag and add cream seam binding to the hole in the tag.  With Dries Clear Adhesive add Water Lily Glitter to the flowers and the bananas, add Lichen Glitter to the leaves and greenery, and Acorn Glitter to the monkeys, including the tag.  Add Dandelion Yellow Nuvo Crystal Drops to the center of each flower, including the flowers on the tag.  The back of the tag is blank which could be used to list details for the party.

Today I am sharing with you my I'm Bananas Over You Card I created with the Palm Tree and Monkeys Cling Stamp Set and the Monkey Antics Cling Stamp Set, and their coordinating dies.

I colored the bananas and florals with Memento and ColorBox inks using sponge daubers and Fantastix Blending Tools.  I mixed the Lemon Chiffon and and Coral Sea Prills from the Spring Bling Prills set before adding them to the flower centers with Dries Clear Adhesive.

Instructions:  Create an A2 side folding card out of white cardstock.  Cut an A2 card front from the Monkeying Around Paper Collection and die cut the center with the Spellbinders Circles Die.  Sponge edge of A2 card front with Bamboo Leaves Ink and adhere to card base with pop dots.  Adhere die cut circle directly to card base with Dries Clear Adhesive. Cut sentiment from design paper and round corners.  Sponge edges of sentiment with Bamboo Leaves Ink and adhere to card as shown with pop dots.  On White Cardstock with Tuxedo Black Ink stamp three bananas from the Monkey Antics Stamp Set and stamp the flowers from the Palm Tree and Monkeys Stamp Set.  Die cut with coordinating dies.  Using sponge daubers and Fantastix color the bananas with Dandelion, Cantaloupe and New Sprout Memento Inks and the flowers with Angel Pink, Rose Coral and Dandelion Inks and the leaves with Bamboo Leaves and New Sprout Inks.  Shape bananas and flowers with Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit.  Adhere bananas and flowers to card as shown with pop dots and Dries Clear Adhesive, cutting apart flowers as needed.  Mix Lemon Chiffon Prills and Coral See Prills from the Spring Bling Prills set together and add to flower centers with Dries Clear Adhesive.  With Dries Clear Adhesive and the fine metal tip add Water Lily Glitter to the bananas, flowers and leaves as desired.  Add Gloss White Nuvo Crystal Drops to the centers of the flowers on the design paper.

Strawberry Stand Step Card

Even though it has been February we have had some really warm days, so I have been thinking about how Summer will be here before we know it.  My Strawberry Stand Step Card reminds me of those warm Summer days ahead!  This card features Heartfelt Creations Berry Cafe Collection.

Instructions:  Create a step card out of one of the Pocket and Flipfold Inserts B in White.  Next cut design paper from the Berry Cafe Paper Collection to fit each of the front panels of the card base. Sponge edges of yellow design paper with Squeezed Lemonade Distress Ink and blue design paper with Ice Blue Chalk Ink.  Adhere design papers to card base as shown.  On Cryogen White Paper with Tuxedo Black Ink stamp the strawberry stand using the Berry Cafe Stamp Set, stamp the fence and the bee hive using the Sweet as Honey Stamp Set, stamp the vining berries using the Blooming Berries Stamp Set and on white cardstock stamp several blossoms using the Berry Blossoms Stamp Set.  Die cut all with coordinating dies.  Color the center of the blossoms with a sponge dauber and Spun Sugar Distress Ink.  Color the strawberry stand, fence, bee hive and strawberries with Copics.  With the Flower Shaping Tools lightly shape the bee hive, fence, strawberry stand, blossoms and strawberries.  Adhere to card as shown, using pop dots.  With Dries Clear Adhesive add Sunshine Yellow Flower Soft to the centers of the blossoms on the beehive, add Tu Tu Pink Prills to the centers of the die cut blossoms, add Meadow Flower Soft to the grass beneath the fence, add Mellow Yellow Glitter to the bee hive and the signs on the strawberry stand, add Crystal Glitter to the blossoms and strawberry stand, as desired, and add Lichen Glitter to the leaves and greenery.  Add Yellow Stickles to the centers of the pink Copic colored blossoms on the fence.  Adhere Red and Turquoise Rhinestones as shown.  Finally, add Crystal Lacquer to all the strawberries.

Ice Cream Sundae Card

On a hot summer day like today an ice cream sundae sure sounds good.  Today I am sharing my Ice Cream Sundae card featuring Heartfelt Creations Berry Cafe Collection.

I colored the images with Copics, used 3D Silver Stamp paint on the glass and added Prill Spills for sprinkles.

Instructions:  Create a 6" x 6" card base out of white cardstock.  Next cut a 6" x 6" card front from the Berry Cafe Paper Collection.  Sponge Lime Pastel Chalk Ink around the green edge of the paper and Angel Pink Ink around the pink edge of the paper.  Using the Decorative Oval Die, cut a piece of red design paper and using the Eyelet Oval Die, out of the eyelet die cut a blue piece of design paper and out of the solid oval cut a red piece of the design paper.  Adhere the red oval onto the Decorative Oval die cut and then sponge Lipstick Red Chalk Ink on die cut.  Sponge Ice Blue Chalk Ink around edges of the Eyelet Oval and then adhere to red die cut oval.  Add Crystal Glitter to lines on the Eyelet Oval die cut with the Metal Fine Tip and the Dries Clear Adhesive.  Adhere entire oval to card front with pop dots.  Die cut sentiment with Spellbinders Victorian Tags and add to oval as shown. On Cryogen White Paper with Tuxedo Black Ink stamp the ice cream sundae from the Berry Delicious Stamp Set twice and stamp the strawberries from the Blooming Berries Stamp Set.  Color with Copics and die cut with the coordinating Berry Blossom Die and Berry Cafe Die. (Note - you only need to color one full ice cream sundae with Copics and on the second one just color the strawberry  and then pop dot the strawberry on top of the sundae).   Sponge Silver 3D Stamp Paint diluted with water onto the sundae glass and then add Misty Glitter to the glass. Lightly shape the sundae and the strawberry before adding to the card front with pop dots.  Add Crystal Glitter to the ice cream, berries and white flowers, Wild Rose Glitter to the pink flowers, and Ensalada to the green leaves.  Add Mustard Seed Distress Glitter to the center of the flowers.  Add Prills Spills from the Rock n' Roll Prills set using Dries Clear Adhesive to the ice cream for sprinkles.  Add Light Green and Red Rhinestones to the upper right corner of the card front.

Instructions:  Create a 6" x 6" card base out of white cardstock.  Next take a 6" x 6" card front from the Berry Cafe Paper Collection and die cut out the center using the Cut Mat Create 2A Die.  Matte the center die cut image on green Bazzill cardstock that has been die cut with the large Spellbinders Lacey Squares die and adhere to the center of the card front.  Add Wild Rose Glitter, Crystal Glitter and Mellow Yellow Glitter to the center die cut image as desired.  Take the card panel front and sponge Lime Pastel Chalk Ink around the outer edges and Ice Blue Chalk Ink around the inside edge of the square before adhering it to the card front with a double layer of pop dots.  From the design paper, using the Berry Cafe Die, die cut the boy and girl image and sponge Gray Whale Chalk Ink around the edges of the chair backs and table legs.  Add Wildwood Glitter to boy's outfit, add Crystal and Wild Rose glitter to girl's outfit, and add Icicle Glitter and Warm White Glitter to the sundae. Adhere image to center of card with pop dots.  Die cut sentiment using arrow from the Cut Mat Create 1B Die set and then sponge Dandelion ink around edges and then add Mellow Yellow Glitter to edges.  Adhere to card front with pop dots.  Using the Sweet As Honey Die, die cut two small corner flower images and the fence.  Sponge Gray Whale Chalk Ink around the edges of the fence. Cut the fence in half and adhere it to the sides of the card front with pop dots.  Adhere the full small corner flower image to the left upper corner and cut the small corner flower image to fit around the sentiment on the right corner.  Add Ensalada Glitter to all the leaves, Mellow Yellow Glitter to all the flower centers and Flint Elements below the fence with Dries Clear Adhesive.  On White cardstock with Tuxedo Black Ink stamp the small flowers from the Berry Blossoms Stamp Set and die cut with the coordinating Berry Blossoms Die.  Sponge Dandelion Ink in center and around edges of blossoms.  Shape with Flower Shaping Kit and then add Mellow Yellow Glitter and Bright Idea Prills to each flower.  Adhere blossoms as shown.  Add an Iridescent Rhinestone to the bottom corners of the card front and finally, finish by adding Crystal Lacquer to all the strawberries.

Beautiful Garden Vegetables Card

Today I have a card to share with you that features an image of some beautiful garden vegetables created from a card front panel from Heartfelt Creations Farmers Market Paper Collection.  The beautiful Want2Scrap Swirls Finesse in Brown Rhinestones and Navy Blue Rhinestones is the perfect accent for this card.  I die cut the center of the card front using Heartfelt Creations Cut Mat Create 1A Die.  I wrapped a ribbon around the center of the outer edge of the card panel before adhering it to the card base and then adhered the bow.

I cut the Swirls Finesse - Brown Rhinestones in half and added part of it at the top of the card and then also adhered Navy Blue Rhinestones to each end of the swirl.

I adhered the other half of the Swirls Finesse - Brown Rhinestones to the bottom of the card and also added some more Navy Blue Rhinestones.

To the die cut center of the card panel, I added some Crystal Glitter to the onions, Mellow Yellow Glitter to the corn, Green Brier Glitter to the carrot tops and Vintage Photo Distress Glitter to the sunflower centers in the design paper.  I added the "Reap Joy" tag with a pop dot and then placed a Navy Blue Rhinestone on the hole of the tag.  I then added the entire center card panel to the card front with pop dots.

Instructions: Begin by creating a 6" x 6" side folding card out of white cardstock.  Next on Cryogen White Paper with Tuxedo Black Ink stamp the bee hive and the flower with bee (twice) from the Sweet as Honey Stamp Set, stamp a large set of the blossoms and a small set of the blossoms from the Berry Blossoms Stamp Set, and also stamp the hanging berry cluster from the Blooming Berries Stamp Set.  Color all with Copics, except the blossoms color with Squeezed Lemonade & Spun Sugar Distress Ink and a sponge dauber.  Next die cut all with the coordinating dies. Shape all with the Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit.  Hand cut the flower with the bee and then add the die cut bee to the hand cut image with pop dots. To the center of the flower add Go Man Go Prills with Dries Clear Adhesive.  Add Lemon Chiffon and Tu Tu Pink Prills from the Spring Bling Prills set to the center of the blossoms.  Assemble die cut pieces as shown, cutting apart strawberries as needed.  Add Lichen Glitter and Crystal Glitter, as desired.  With the metal fine tip on the Dries Clear Adhesive, add Crystal Glitter to the "stitching" on the design paper.  Add small buttons to the card with Adhesive.  Add Crystal Lacquer to all the strawberries, including the ones on the design paper.  Using the Luggage and Tags Die, die cut the sentiment from the design paper and add it to the card using a pop dot and add a Red Pearl to the hole in the tag.  Finish by adding the White Pearls Swirls Finesse, cutting to fit as needed.
