Heartfelt Creations March Alumni Design Team Blog Hop

Today I am sharing a decorated box I created using Heartfelt Creations Wild Rose Collection. I used the design paper from the Cottage Garden Paper Collection.

To create the look of baby's breath I used a stamp from the  Wild Aster Spray Cling Stamp Set and the Wild Aster Spray Die.

Graphic 45 Easter Tag

Today I am sharing with you an Easter Tag I created using beautiful design paper from Graphic 45 and Want2Scrap Wild Plum Pearls Swirls Finesse. I covered the Manila Tag using Graphic 45 Sweet Sentiments - Heart Song Paper and added the vintage image and sentiment from Graphic 45 Sweet Sentiments - Heart Song Paper.  I added Art Glitter Ensalada Glitter with Art Glitter Dries Clear Adhesive to the image. 

Then I adhered a LeCreme Pearl and added the Wild Plum Pearls Swirls Finesse, cutting to fit as needed.

At the top of the tag I used LeCreme Pearls and Sage Green Pearls and added seam binding to the hole.

Very quickly you have a beautiful vintage tag to add to your Easter basket.  Have a great day!

Remember the Time Mini Album with Crate

Today I am sharing with you my Remember the Time Mini Album with Crate.  This project features products from Heartfelt Creations Everyday Heroes Collection which is being retired and is only available to purchase until December 2nd or while supplies last.

I decorated the 7gypsies Mini Vintage ATC Crate in White with design paper form the Everyday Heroes Paper Collection.

Instructions: Decorate the sides and bottom of the mini crate using design paper from the Everyday Heroes Paper Collection, adhering it to the crate using Mod-Podge.  To decorate the ends of the crate, die cut the brown design paper twice with the round window die from the Everyday Hero Die Set and adhere to ends of crate with Mod-Podge.  Adhere LeCreme Pearls to die cut as shown. With Walnut Stain Distress Ink on cream design paper stamp the "We Will Remember" sentiment from the You Inspire Me Stamp Set and die cut with the buckle die from the Everyday Hero Die Set and on blue design paper stamp the "You Inspire Me" sentiment and the arrow from the Everyday Hero Newsprint Stamp Set and die cut with the coordinating die from the Everyday Hero Die Set. Adhere to end of crate, as shown.To create mini album use the design paper along with the Scor-Pal and corner rounder to create the album cover.  Create the pages using Bazzill cardstock along with the Scor-Pal and secure the pages in the album using Scor-Tape. Decorate the pages with photos, dew drops and bling, as desired. Using the tag die from the Luggage and Tags Die Set die cut the hole reinforcements, large tags and the small "courage" tag.  On one of the tags stamp the "In the face of adversity . . ." statement from the You Inspire Me Stamp Set.  Decorate the other tags with images cut from the design paper.  Adhere the hole reinforcements to the tags and then add seam binding to each tag.  Create a pocket for the tags on the back page of the mini album. To create the flowers to decorate the end of the crate and the cover of the mini album, with Walnut Stain Distress Ink stamp the flowers on beige design paper and stamp the leaves on green design paper using the Botanical Rose Stamp Set.  With Salty Ocean Distress Ink stamp the daisies using the Delightful Daisies Stamp Set and die cut all with coordinating dies.  Shape the petals and leaves using the Deluxe Flower Shaping Tools and add prills from the Spring Bling Prills set to each flower's center with Dries Clear Adhesive. With Dries Clear Adhesive adhere flowers to the one side of crate and to the cover of the mini album, as shown.  With Dries Clear Adhesive add a touch of Crystal Glitter to the flowers, leaves and design paper throughout the mini album, as desired. 

Inspire Airplane Ornament

Today Heartfelt Creations is debuting its Art Foam Paper and Flower Stamens.  With these new products I created my Inspire airplane Ornament.

My ornament features Heartfelt Creations Inspire Charm.

The flowers were created using the new Art Foam Paper  and  HCS1-459-1 Assorted Pearl-Small Stamens, HCS1-460 Bridal Bouquet-Small Stamens and HCS1-459-4 Rock Candy-Small Stamens.

Instructions:  To create this 7" long ornament begin by die cutting the plane image from the design paper from the Young at Heart Paper Collection and also die cut a piece of blue design paper for the back of the airplane.  Sponge the blue back with Teal Zeal Ink to make it a solid color.  Using needle nose pliers pry apart top clasp of inspire charm and insert white floral wire between top chain and top clasp.  Using Dries Clear Adhesive adhere front and back of airplane making sure floral wire is straight.  Adhere black bow above airplane as shown and with Dries Clear Adhesive add Banana Glitter to airplane.  Add Crystal Lacquer to airplane and allow to dry completely.  On Art Foam Paper with Garden Patina Archival Ink stamp the two small poinsettia from the Ornate Sleigh Stamp Set and stamp two large poinsettias from the Celebrate the Season Stamp Set and die cut with coordinating dies.  On Art Foam Paper with Fern Green Archival Ink stamp the small several small leaves from the Ornate Sleigh Stamp Set and stamp several large leaves from the Celebrate the Season Stamp Set and die cut with coordinating dies.  Color poinsettias with Turquoise Pan Pastels and color leaves with Chrom. Oxide Green Pan Pastels.  Use Heat It Craft Tool to warm poinsettias and leaves and then shape with Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit.  Use the small yellow stamens from the Assorted Pearl Small Set along with white floral wire, cutting the poinsettias in half and then adhering petals around stamens with the hot glue gun.  Begin assembling on ornament as shown, adhering with hot glue gun.  Also using the Turquoise stamens from the Rock Candy - Small set and the white glitter stamens from the Bridal Bouquet - Small Set, using floral wire and hot glue as needed adding to ornament as shown for accents.  With Dries Clear Adhesive add Baby Baubs Glitter to poinsettia and leaves.  Using needle nose pliers add Tim Holtz Baubles to bottom of Inspire charm.

Petunias in a Watering Can

Today I am sharing one of my favorite projects, My Petunias in a Watering Can.  I love petunias and almost every year I buy hot pink petunias and put them in pots on my front porch.  I have already even put them in an old metal maple syrup bucket that belonged to my Grandpa.  So when I saw this little tin watering can at the thrift store I knew it would be perfect to put my Heartfelt Creations Petunias in them.

I even designed it so a sweet little hummingbird paid a visit to the pretty petunias!

Instructions:  Insert Dry Floral Foam into Watering Can and cover with Decorative Floral Moss.  On White Cardstock with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink stamp the small petunias and leaves from the Small Classic Petunia Stamp Set, stamp the large petunias and leaves from the Large Classic Petunia Stamp Set,  and stamp the hummingbirds from the Regal Hummingbird Stamp Set.  Die cut all with coordinating Dies.  Using HC Stack and Store Daubers color the leaves using Guacamole and then Lime Pastel ColorBox Chalk Inks and the dark petunias with Lilac Posies Memento Ink and add Dark Peony ColorBox Chalk Ink to the centers and for the light pink petunias use Rouge ColorBox Chalk Ink and add Rose Bud Memento Ink to the centers of the petunias. Using HC Stack and Store Daubers  color the hummingbirds with Berrylicious Chalk Ink, New Sprout Memento Ink and Teal Zeal Memento Ink. Shape petunias, leaves and  hummingbird with the Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit.

Take a piece of Green Floral Wire and with wire cutters curl the one end to make a circle and then with hot glue adhere the wire circle to the back of each petunia.  Insert the other end of the wired petunias into the Floral Foam in the watering can, arranging petunias as necessary.  With Dries Clear Adhesive add Ribbit Prills from Bright Ideas Prills set to center of all petunias.  Add Plum Loco Glitter to the dark petunias, Antique White Glitter to the lighter petunias, Lettuce Glitter to leaves and hummingbird body and Tropical Rain Glitter to the hummingbird's tail and wings. Add hummingbird to arrangement with wire adhered to back of hummingbird and then inserted into Floral Foam

Instructions: Create the purse gift box using the Flowering Dogwood Paper Collection and the Spellbinders Favorably Simple Gift Box Die. Use velcro with adhesive, cutting to fit as needed, to adhere tab closure on backside of purse.  Adhere Couture Swirls Pearl self adhesive embellishment and Light Blue Pearls on front of purse.  Using the Luggage and Tags die, die cut the Faith sentiment and pink holes from the Dogwood Design Paper.  Sponge edge of tag with Prussian Blue Chalk Ink and then apply Dries Clear Adhesive to edges of tag and then dip in Blue Boy Glitter.  Adhere pink hole to tag and add to purse handle with a small chain.  On White Cardstock with Tuxedo Black Ink stamp several flowers from the Flowering Dogwood Stamp Set and die cut with coordinating dies.  Using sponge daubers and Fantastix color some flower petals with Cheeky Chalk Ink and some petals with New Sprout Ink, color center of flowers with New Sprout Ink, and color leaves with New Sprout and Bamboo Inks.  Die cut stamens using green design paper.  Shape flowers, stamens and leaves with Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit. Assemble flowers as show and adhere flowers and leaves to purse front as shown.  Using Dries Clear Adhesive add stamens to large flower and add Lettuce Prills to centers of small flowers.  Add Water Lily Glitter to the dogwood flowers, stamens and leaves.  

Shabby Chic Rose Birdhouse

Hello crafters!  Today I am sharing my Shabby Chic Rose Birdhouse I created featuring Heartfelt Creations Classic Rose Collection.

I found this birdhouse while I was on vacation out in the Black Hills of South Dakota this summer at a boutique and it was on sale. I immediately knew it would be perfect to decorate with roses created with this collection.

I used a hot glue gun to adhere the roses to the birdhouse.

I just love how this project turned out!

Christmas Decorated Gift Box

Today I am sharing my Christmas Decorated Gift Box.  My mother-in-law asked me if I had any use for this plastic hexagon box she had and right away I knew it would make the perfect gift box to decorate and showcase Heartfelt Creations' Celebrate the Season and Snow Kissed Collections.

I decorated the top of the box with several large poinsettias and created gold accents by cutting metallic gold paper with a die from the HCD1-774 All Glammed Up Shoe Die set.  Want2Scrap Sleek Strips 12" - Turquoise Rhinestones created the perfect accent.

I used a Tim Holtz Swivel Clasp to hang the decorated tag on the package.

Instructions:  Cover box with design paper from the Celebrate the Season Paper Collection.  Adhere Sleek Strips 12" Rhinestones in Iridescent and Turquoise as shown.  Create poinsettias and leaves using design paper from the Celebrate the Seasons, Sparkling Poinsettia and Arianna Blooms Paper Collections by using Gold Embossing Powder and the Large Sparkling Poinsettia Stamp Set, Sparkling Poinsettia Stamp Set, Ornate Sleigh Stamp Set and Celebrate the Season Stamp Set.  Die cut with coordinating dies and shape poinsettias and leaves with Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit.   Using blue design paper from the Snow Kissed Paper collection die cut three large snowflakes using the Snow Kissed Flakes and Tag Die.  Sponge two large snowflakes with Teal Zeal Ink and cut those two  in half to decorate the top of the box.  Decorate top and sides of box as shown with poinsettias.  Die cut Gold Metallic Satin Paper with die from the all Glammed Up Shoe Die and cut in half and use as accents around poinsettias.  Also using the Gold Metallic Paper die cut some sprigs using the Gift Box and Mini Snowflakes Die and add around poinsettias as shown.  To create tag use Moonlight White Ink to stamp the tag image using the Snow Kissed Flakes and Tag Set on green design paper from the Snow Kissed Paper Collection and die cut with coordinating die.  Die cut tag from the Celebrate the Season design paper using the Luggage and Tags Die and adhere to green tag with pop dots and also die cut purple hole reinforcement and add to tag.  Stamp the snowflakes from the Snow Kissed Flakes and Tag Set one white cardstock using Teal Zeal Ink and die cut with coordinating die.  Also die cut mittens from design paper using the coordinating die.  Decorate tag with mittens, small poinsettias, gold sprigs and holly leaves with Prills.  Cut large snowflake die cut apart and adhere to back of tag, allowing edges to show around tag as shown.  Add Crystal Glitter, Start Dust Stickles, Aqua Stickles, and Lavender Stickles to tag, design paper and poinsettias as desired.
