The Robin's Nest Red Glitter Tree Christmas Card

Today I am sharing a card featuring The Robin's Nest Christmas Collection.  This 5" x 7" card uses The Robin's Nest White Glitter Cardstock for its card base.  I then adhered a 4 1/2" x 6 1/2" piece of Christmas Tree Glitter Cardstock onto the card base.  I stamped the "Merry Christmas" sentiment with white ink at the bottom of the card.  Next I adhered Crimson Mini Dew Drops and Silver Bell Dew Drops to the trees to look like ornaments.  Finally, I added Pearl White Diamond Dew Drops to the top of the tree in the shape of a star.

Instructions:  Begin by creating a 5" x 7" card base out of pink Bazzill Cardstock.  Next adhere a 5" x 7" card front from the Cascading Fuchsia Paper Collection to the card base.  Then using the coordinating Cut Mat Create 1A Die, die cut a piece of Pink Bazzill cardstock and adhere to the center of the card base.  On Cryogen White Paper using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink stamp the Vining Fuchsia image and color with Copics.  Add Crystal Glitter to fuchsias on the colored image with Dries Clear Adhesive.  Add Lilac Pearls to stamens on fuchsias with Viva Decor Pearl Pen. Then take a piece of green Cascading Fuchsia Paper and die cut it using the Decorative Oval Die.  Cut it in half and matte half of it on the top and half of it on the bottom of the stamped and colored image on the Grand Oval.  Adhere to card front as shown.  Next on pink Cascading Fuchsia Paper with VersaMark Watermark Ink stamp the "As you Recover" image from the Heartfelt Sentiments Stamp Set and add Earthtone Grape Wow Embossing Powder.  Tap off excess and heat set.  Die cut with coordinating Everyday Heroes Die.  Then on green Cascading Fuchsia Paper with VersaMark Watermark Ink stamp the arrow from the Everyday Hero Newsprint Set and stamp the "Get Well Soon" sentiment from the Heartfelt Sentiments Set and then add Earthtone Pepper Wow Embossing Powder.  Tap off excess and heat set. Add a small amount of Crystal Glitter with Dries Clear Adhesive to the center of the die cut circle. Die cut arrow with coordinating Everyday Heroes Die.  Cut arrow to create a shorter arrow and hide seam when you insert it in the "As You Recover" decorative circle die cut.  Adhere to card front with pop dots.  With Dries Clear Adhesive add sequins to image.  

Chicky Easter Card

I can't believe Easter is almost here!  Today I am sharing a cute Chicky Easter card I made with Taylored Expressions Easter Stamp that I colored with Copics.  The stamp coordinated perfectly with Echo Park's Little Girl Betty Bird paper.

Instructions:  Adhere Echo Park Little Girl Betty Bird paper to the white Bazzill card base.  Next wrap the ribbon around the top of the card and tie with a knot in the center of the card front.  Then adhere the Little Yellow Bicycle Hello Fall Green Splendor paper to the center of the card.  Color the image that has been stamped on Cryogen White paper with Memento Ink from Taylored Expressions – Easter stamp.  Add Sage Flower Soft to grass.  Add Orange Peel Stickles to chick’s nose and Lavender Stickles to center of daisy.

Snow Cards with The Robin's Nest

We are still enjoying Winter here in Northern Indiana so I thought I would share some more of  my Winter cards featuring the Winter Collection from The Robin's Nest.  For my first card I created a Snowman Card featuring the Red Snowflake Cardstock.  I began by creating a 5 1/2" x 5 1/2" card base.  Next I adhered a 5 1/2" square piece of the red side of the Red Snowflake Cardstock and then on top of that I added a 5 1/4" square piece of the black side of the Flame Glitter Swirl Cardstock. Finally I adhered a 4 7/8" square piece of  the Red Snowflake Cardstock.

I then cut out one of the snowmen from the Glitter Snowmen and added it to the card front with pop dots.  I added silver Dew Drops from the Early Dawn Dew Drops to the eyes on the snowman and black Diamond Dew Drops from the Glacier Diamond Dew Drops for the buttons on the snowman.

 I also added some snowflakes from the Winter Snowflakes Glitter Chipboard to the upper right corner and some Glacier Diamond Dew Drops to the bottom right corner of the card front.  Finally I die cut an oval piece from the red side of the Red Snowflake Cardstock and stamped the "Let it Snow!" sentiment on it and matted it on a piece of the black side of the Flame Glitter Swirl Cardstock that had been die cut with a Scalloped Oval.  I then added it to the card with a pop dot.

For my Snow Angels Card, I began by creating a 6" x 6" card base and then adhered a 6" square piece of the Winter Snowflakes Cardstock.

I then fussy cut a 5 1/4" x 3" piece of Snow Angels Glitter Cardstock and add it to the card front.  Next I wrapped a 1 1/2" white ribbon around the center of the card front.  I then cut out the words "Snow Angels" from the Winter Words Glitter Cardstock, matted it on Blue Glitter Chipboard and added Metallic Silver Dew Drops to each edge.

I then added it to card front with pop dots.  Next I added a bow to the side of the card front.  Finally I added  Early Dawn Dew Drops around the snow angels on the design paper.

Vintage Sledding and Deer Card with The Robin's Nest

Today and I am excited to share with you two Winter cards that I created for The Robin's Nest featuring the Winter Collection. 

For my first card, I created a 6" x 6" card base and then adhered a 6" square piece of the beautiful Brown on Brown Glitter Cardstock and then a 5 1/2" square piece of Winter Retreat Glitter Swirl Cardstock.  I then added the sledding image, a snowflake and the word "snow" from the Snow Rub-Ons to the Winter Retreat Glitter Swirl Cardstock.  I also added a couple snowflakes from the Winter Snowflakes Glitter Chipboard set and Black Forest Mini Dew Drops and Early Dawn Dew Drops.  I just love the vintage look of this card!

My second card features the beautiful Winter Deer Glitter Cardstock. First I created a 5" x 7" card base.   I then cut a 5" x 7" piece of Silver Glitter Cardstock  and then I cut a 4 3/4" x 6 3/4" piece of the Winter Deer Glitter Cardstock in half and adhered the deer side to the top of the Silver Glitter Cardstock and the striped side to the bottom of the Silver Glitter Cardstock.

I then wrapped a piece of 1 1/2" white ribbon around the center of the panel and then adhered the entire piece to the card front.  I then created a bow and adhered it to the card.  I also stamped a sentiment on a tag and added it to the bow with a silver metallic string.  Then to the striped portion of the cardstock I added Early Dawn Dew Drops and  Winter Snowflakes Glitter Chipboard using pop dots.

SNOWMAN CARD

Hi everyone!  It is yet another day of blowing and drifting snow and subzero temperatures here in Northern Indiana.  Church was cancelled today and school is already cancelled for tomorrow and it sure is not looking good that the kids will have school again on Tuesday (they didn't have school last Thursday or Friday).  My daughter Johnna and I have been having fun creating in my craft room together.  Today I have a cute snowman card to share with you that I created using Taylored Expressions The Cool Crowd stamp set, Taylored Expressions Make a Snowflake Die, and Want2Scrap® Rhinestones in Pink and Silver/Clear.

HAVE A HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Today on the Want2Scrap Blog I am sharing a Happy New Year Card that I created that uses Want2Scrap Baby Bling Rhinestones in Silver.  The Happy New Year Stamp on this card is from Taylored Expressions and I colored it with Copics.

In the glass I added Art Glitter Vintage Glass Glitter in Rosebud with Art Institute Dries Clear Adhesive.  Of course, the Silver Want2Scrap Baby Bling Rhinestones were the perfect accent for the bubbles!

I used a combination of design paper from Best Creations and Bella Blvd, and I matted the image that had been stamped on Cryogen White Paper onto green Bazzill cardstock before adhering it to the card front.

BELATED BIRTHDAY CARD WITH CANDI

Today I am sharing a Belated Birthday Card that I created that uses Craftwork Cards Candi in Trick or Treat.  I created the 5 1/2" card base out of Bazzill cardstock and Echo Park Paper in This & That Dots & Plaid.

I stamped this cute image with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Cryogen White Paper using Taylored Expressions Ducks in a Row stamp set and I colored it with Copics (YR18, YR21, YR23, YR24).    I added some Ranger Stickles in StarDust to the ducks wings for a little sparkle.   I matted it on gold Bazzill cardstock and adhered it to the card base with pop dots.

 

I added some green May Arts twine around the top of the card and finished it with a brown button from my stash.  As a final touch I added Craftwork Cards Candi - Trick or Treat to the image with Candi Fix.

BIRTHDAY CARD WITH CRAFTWORK CARDS CANDI

I created a fun Birthday card  using Craftwork Cards Candi in Polka Dots - Raspberry Truffle and Polka Dots - Citrus Burst.

 

I created the A2 card base out of Bazzill cardstock and Webster's Pages Allison Kreft Creamsicles design paper.  The stamped image is from Taylored Expressions Summer Love set and I colored it with Copics (RV25, RV29, YG13, YG17, C00, C1, W1, W5, W9, BG0000, E77, RV52, E33, R29).  I added Craftwork Cards Polka Dots - Raspberry Truffle Candi to the wheels on the ice cream truck and Robin's Nest Tear Drops in Lovebirds to the edges of the Spellbinders Label Four.

 

To finish the card I added Craftwork Cards Candi in Polka Dots - Raspberry Truffle and Polka Dots - Citrus Burst with Candi Fix to the bottom right corner of the card.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY WITH CRAFTWORK CARDS CANDI

Today I made a Birthday Card featuring Craftwork Cards Ice Cream Parlour Paper Collection Downloads. 

 

This paper can be downloaded directly from Craftwork Cards website and printed off on your own printer. How convenient is that!  With Espresso Truffle Memento Ink on Cryogen White Paper I stamped the graphic Birthday image from Taylored Expressions Big Bold Birthday stamp set and then I colored the word "Day" with Copics.  To make it sparkle I added Crafter's Companion Spray and Sparkle spray in iridescent before I matted it on the Spellbinders Scalloped Rectangles.

 

I wrapped some twine around the top of the card and added a FabScraps wooden button.

 

I finished the card by adding some Craftwork Cards Toy Box Candi with Candi Fix.

Today I have a baby card to share with you that I created using Craftwork Cards Candi in Polka Dots - Citrus Burst!

 

 

I made the A2 card base out of yellow Bazzill cardstock and the design paper is Choo Choo Train from Echo Park Paper Co.  I then stamped the banner image and sentiment from Taylored Expressions It's a Banner Day 3 with Memento Ink in Bamboo Leaves and Tuxedo Black and die cut with with the coordinating Taylored Expressions Banner Die.



And then I added Craftwork Cards Candi in Polka Dots - Citrus Burst to the polka dots on the design paper with Candi Fix.
