I started scrapbooking 22 years ago at a record speed when I turned ten years worth of pictures into completed scrapbooks in three months time. I only
started stamping and coloring with Copics about 12 years ago when a small scrapbook
store, More Memories, opened in my home town. I started taking some
card and coloring classes at the store and I had no idea what an amazing journey that would start me on. I truly found my niche' in paper crafting. This would lead me to
starting a blog, being on several Design Teams, having my work published over fifteen times
and my work on display at CHA and other industry trade shows. I have met so
many amazing people in real life and in blogland. It has turned out to truly be
a blessing in my life and just what I needed, when I needed it. God is truly
amazing!
I am a
stay-at-home wife, married to my high school sweetheart, John, for 29 years. We have two married daughters, Malinda (26) who works at Hobby Lobby and Johnna (23) who is an ICU nurse. I volunteer at church and with our county 4-H scrapbooking program. Designing is a hobby/job that I can do where I am
still at home and I can work around my family obligations. It also helps
support my craft habit (which we all know can be expensive)! My husband is an international corporate pilot and so I also want to be home when he is home and I
need a hobby to fill my time when he is gone. Designing cards and coloring with
Copics is my outlet, it is something I do for me, but yet I can still fulfill my
responsibilities as a wife, mother, daughter, friend and sister-in-Christ like I
want and need to.
My faithful friend, a TICA Registered Non-Standard Munchkin named Chiquita Banana Muffin ("Muffin") is always nearby "helping" in my craft room. I hope you enjoy my blog and the projects I create. I enjoy comments and appreciate all of my blog visitors and followers!
