Snowflake Chipboard Holiday Tag

Today I am sharing my Snowflakes Chipboard Holiday Tag featuring Want2Scrap's Snowflakes #2 Chipboard Embellishment and the Snowflakes #3 Chipboard Embellishment.  I decorated this 3 1/4" x 6 1/4" Tag using design paper from Echo Park.

First, I painted the Snowflakes #2 Chipboard Embellishment and the Snowflakes #3 Chipboard Embellishment with a thin coat of Gesso.  Then for the gold snowflake I inked it with Tsukineko Brilliance Pigment Ink in Galaxy Gold, added Wow Embossing Powder/Glitter in NuBean Sparkle, tapped off the excess and heat set it.  For the white snowflake I inked it with Tsukineko Brilliance Pigment Ink in Platinum Planet, added Ranger Embossing Powder in Snowflake Tinsel, tapped off the excess and heat set it.  I then added a LeCreme Pearl to the gold snowflake and several Iridescent Rhinestones to the white snowflake.  I adhered the snowflakes to the tag using Pop Dot Adhesive Double Sided Glue Dots, cutting them to fit as needed, and layering them as needed to create the desired height.

I added Sleek Strips 6" Pearls in LeCreme to the top and bottom of the tag.  Next I added the cream seam binding to the tag and added Decorative Bells in Gold to the end of each ribbon.

Instructions:  Begin by creating an 4 1/4" by 5 1/2" card base out of white card stock.  Cut an A2 card front from the Young at Heart Paper Collection and die cut the image using the coordinating die from the 1A Cut Mat Create Die Set.  Sponge edge of A2 card front with Summer Sky Memento Ink and adhere  to card base using pop dots.  Adhere die cut image directly to card base using Dries Clear Adhesive.  On White Cardstock with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink stamp the fence using the Wildwood Cottage Accents Stamp Set and stamp the rocks/grass image from the Woodsy Wonderland Stamp Set and die cut with their coordinating dies.  Color the fence with sponge daubers using Toffee Crunch and Desert Sand Memento Inks.  Color the rocks/grass die cut with Copics (Rocks and Stones - W1, W3, W5; Grass - YG01, YG05, YG17; Flowers - YR12; Flower Centers - Y06).  Cut the fence and rocks/grass die cuts, as shown, and adhere to card as shown using pop dots and Dries Clear Adhesive as needed.  Cut sentiment from the design paper and sponge edge with Summer Sky Memento Ink.  Adhere sentiment to card and adhere Red Rhinestones to edges of sentiment as shown. With Dries Clear Adhesive add Banana Glitter to the flowers and Ensalada Glitter to the grass, on the die cuts and design paper.

Instructions:  Create an A2 sized card out of white cardstock.  Cut an A2 sized card front from the Beary Fun Retreat Paper Collection and die cut the center image using the coordinating die from the Cut Mat Create 2A Die set.  Sponge outer edges of A2 design paper card front with Potter's Clay Memento Ink and adhere to card base with pop dots.  Adhere die cut center image directly to the card base with Dries Clear Adhesive. Cut the "Relax" sentiment from the design paper and sponge edges with Potter's Clay Memento Ink and adhere to card as shown with small pop dots. On white cardstock with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink stamp the maple leaf image from the Sunflower Accent Stamp Set , the marshmallow roasting sticks from the Beary Fun Retreat Stamp Set and the grass from the Wildwood Cottage Accents Stamp Set and die cut all with coordinating dies.  Cut grass in sections and cut the maple leaves so that you are only using three leaves shown. Color the grass with Olive Grove, New Sprout and Cantaloupe Memento Inks; the marshmallows lightly with Peanut Brittle; the sticks with Toffee Crunch and Rich Cocoa Memento Inks; and the maple leaves with a combination of Cantaloupe, Potter's Clay, Rhubarb Stalk and Peanut Brittle Inks.  Adhere all to card front as shown using pop dots and Dries Clear Adhesive as needed.  Add Crystal Glitter to the marshmallows, Orange Crush Glitter to the maple leaves, the fire, the bushes, the trees and the tips of the grass, and add Lichen Glitter to the die cut grass.  Finish by adhering Navy Pearls to the design paper as shown.
