CHRISTMAS BLOG HOP WITH THE ROBINS NEST

For my project today I created a Christmas Card with the beautiful design papers from The Robin's Nest.  

To create this 6" x 6" side opening card I began by using the green side of the Black and White Pinetree Glitter Cardstock and adhered a 6" square piece to the card base.  Next I added a 5 3/4" square piece of the Black and White Pinetree Glitter Cardstock and on top of that a 5 1/2" square piece of Red Classic Swirl Glitter Cardstock.  Then I wrapped a piece of white ribbon around the center of the card front and finished with a bow at the top.  

Next I die cut another piece of the green side of the Black and White Pinetree Glitter Cardstock with the Floral Ovals Die.  I added large Metallic Gold Dew Drops from the Red/Gold/Silver Metallic Dew Drops and Mini Metallic Gold Dew Drops from the Ornament Mini Dew Drops around the Floral Oval die cut.  I stamped the candle image on Cryogen White Paper that had been die cut with an oval and colored it with Copics.  I added Diamond Stickles to the candle and added Mini Red Dew Drops from the Ornament Mini Dew Drops to the holly berries in the colored image with Dries Clear Adhesive. I then added the entire decorated oval to the card front with pop dots.  Then using the Spellbinders Layered Poinsettia Die and Red Classic Swirl Glitter Cardstock I created the poinsettia and added a Goldenberry Dew Drop to the center.  With the Hunter Green with Gold Glitter Cardstock stamp and die cut the holly leaves and add Red Metallic Dew Drops from the Red/Gold/Silver Metallic Dew Drops for the berries.  Adhere the holly leaves to the image with Dries Clear Adhesive. 

Finally I added Ace of Diamond Dew Drops to the bottom left corner.

HEARTFELT CREATIONS ROMANTIQUE GARDEN COLLECTION

First, I created a Vintage Best Wishes Tag featuring the beautiful Romantique Garden Paper Collection.

This tag uses the Romantique Wings PreCut Set and also the bleeding hearts stamp from the Heartthrob PreCut Set and the coordinating Romantique Garden Die.

For my next project, I created a card features the Home is Where the Heart is PreCut Set colored with Copics.

Instructions:  To create this 3 1/2" x 7 1/2" tag begin with a #8 Manila tag and adhere the striped Romantique Garden Paper cutting to fit the tag.  Then use a hole punch to create a hole in the design paper and add the vintage seam binding.  Next cut a piece of Romantique Garden Paper with the Raindrops on roses die and add to the bottom of the tag with Dries Clear Adhesive and also add LeCreme Pearls to the die cut.  At the top of the tag adhere the LeCreme Pearls Swirls Finesse and add a large LeCreme Pearl.  Die cut a piece of Cryogen White Paper with the Spellbinders Classic Ovals Die and then stamp the "Best Wishes" image from Romantique Wings PreCut Set with Watermark Ink and use Olive Embossing Powder.  Heat set.  Distress image with Antique Linen Distress Ink and spray with Pink Iridescent Spray & Sparkle Spray.  Matte image with pop dots on green Romantique Garden paper that has been die cut with Gold Ovals One and then adhere that on pink Bazzill cardstock that has been die cut with Classic Ovals Die.  Add LeCreme Pearls.  Next on Cryogen White Paper with Memento Ink stamp Bleeding Hearts from Heartthrob PreCut Set and color with Copics.  Die cut with Romantique Garden Die and adhere 2 small and one large directly to Best Wishes image with Dries Clear Adhesive.  On the large Bleeding Heart, add another one on top with a pop dot.  Add Flax Glitter with Dries Clear Adhesive to the center of large Bleeding Heart.

Instructions:  Begin by making a 5" x 7" card base.  Next adhere the card panel from the Romantique Garden Paper Collection.  Next wrap the ribbon around the the center of the card front, securing in the middle of the front.  On Cryogen White Paper with Memento Ink stamp the image from the Home Is Where the Heart is Set and color with Copics.  Also on Cryogen White Paper stamp some Bleeding Hearts from the Heartthrob Set, color with Copics and die cut with the Romantique Garden Die.  Add Bleeding Hearts to colored image with pop dots.  Add Flax Glitter to the bleeding hearts, Shell White Glitter to the bird and cancelled stamp marks and add Bark Elements to the bird nest all with Dries Clear Adhesive.  At three of the corners add a Black Rhinestone and at the other corner add the Swirls Finesse - Black Rhinestones.  With pop dots add the tag that was die cut with the Luggage and Tags Die from the Romantique Garden Paper.

FRIENDS AND WINE LAYOUT

Today I am sharing with you my Friends and Wine scrapbook layout I designed with Want2Scrap products and 12" x 12" paper and 3D stickers from our cross promotional partner, Paper House Production. Paper House and Want2Scrap products work so perfectly together, that it  made this layout of  a recent weekend trip with friends to Michigan come together quickly and beautifully. I started with a piece of Paper House Friends & Wine 12" Scrapbook Paper and simply matted my pictures on coordinating Bazzill cardstock.

Around the Paper House Wine 3D Stickers I added some Silver/Clear Rhinestones, Sage Green Pearls, and Purple Pearls.

With a sponge brush I added Violet Viva Decor 3D Stamp Paint to the Tasting - Fancy Chipboard Word and then adhered it with Art Glitter Dries Clear Adhesive.  I added more Paper House Wine 3D Stickers and Silver/Clear Rhinestones.  Then I added Maxxi Girl Swirls - Silver Rhinestone to the page.

Finally, I added the "Wine Tasting" and wine bottles from the Paper House Wine 3D Stickers and a few more Silver/Clear Rhinestones.

CHRISTMAS CARDS WITH THE ROBIN'S NEST

The Robin's Nest's Christmas Collection paper quickly and easily makes some really cute Christmas Cards.  Today I am sharing two cards that I created that were featured on The Robin's Nest Blog. The first 6" x 6" card I made uses Cindy Lou Swirl Glitter Cardstock and Cindy Lou Presents Cardstock for its card base.

I then used Heartfelt Creations Trees Die with the Lime Green Glitter Cardstock to die cut a Christmas tree and then I made the trunk out of Brown Mini Dew Drops from the Black Forest Mini Dew Drops and decorated the tree with Ornament Mini Dew Drops and Goldenberry Dew Drops.  I used a star from the Halloween Chipboard set for the top of the tree.

I stamped the sentiment on White Glitter Cardstock that had been cut with an Classic Ovals Die and matted it on the green part of the cardstock from the Cindy Lou Swirl Glitter Cardstock that had been die cut with the Lacey Ovals Die.  I finished by adding a few more Dew Drops to the bottom corner of the card.

For my next card I matted a piece of Cindy Lou Presents Cardstock onto Cindy Lou Dot Glitter Cardstock to create the 6" x 6" card base.  On the presents on the design paper I added Gold & Stardust Stickles for a little extra sparkle.  I then stamped the sentiment on White Glitter Cardstock that had been die cut with the Classic Ovals Die and matted it on Cindy Lou Swirl Glitter Cardstock that had been die cut with a Scalloped Ovals Die.  I added that to the card front with pop dots.  I then added some Christmas Dew Drops and Metallic Gold Dew Drops to the bottom corner.

SPECIAL CARD WITH WANT2SCRAP AND PAPER HOUSE

This month Want2Scrap is teaming up with Paper House Productions.  Today on the Want2Scrap Blog I have a card that I created featuring Want2Scrap's Mullberry Paper Flowers and Bling along with the beautiful Paper House Production Blossoms 6" x 6" Paper Pad.

I matted the sentiment "you're so very special" from the Paper House Production Blossoms 6" x 6" Paper Pad on Bazzill cardstock that had been die cut with Spellbinders Majestic Elements Marvelous Squares and then added White Pearls to each corner.  I die cut the leaves from Bazzill cardstock using Heartfelt Creations Gift Ensemble Die (leaves die) and then adhered the Mulberry Paper Flowers - 5/8" Purple, Mulberry Paper Flowers - 3/8" Purple and Mulberry Paper Flowers - 3/8" Pink with Art Glitter Dries Clear Adhesive to the leaves.

Next I added the Swirls - White Pearls - 4" x 4" and also additional Lavendar Pearls and Purple Pearls to finish the card.

JEANS POCKET CARD WITH HEARTFELT CREATIONS

Hi everyone!  I am back today to share another card that I created with the beautiful Heartfelt Creations Classic Sunflower Collection. This collection includes some cute denim paper and I just could not resist detail cutting out the jeans pocket and creating a sweet card with it.

Of course I need to put something in the pocket, so I die cut a few of the tags from the design paper using the HCD 745 Luggage and Tags Die and tied them up with some twine and tucked them in the pocket.

Instructions:  Begin by creating a 6" x 6" card base out of yellow Bazzill cardstock.  Next adhere the plaid 6" x 6" design paper from the Classic Sunflower Paper Collection.  Then cut a 5 3/4" piece of denim design paper and distress the edges with a distress tool and then Antique Linen Distress Ink. Adhere to cardbase.   Add Flax Glitter with Dries Clear Adhesive to butterflies on design paper.  Detail cut out the jeans pocket from another piece of Classic Sunflower Paper and then distress edges with Distress Tool and then Faded Jeans Distress Ink.  Adhere to card front, adhering both sides and bottom, leaving the top of the pocket open.  With Forrest Moss Distress Ink stamp Bold Leaf and then die cut with Classic Leaf Die.  Next with Sepia Ink stamp Classic Sunflower Set and die cut with Classic Sunflower Die.  Add Walnut Stain Distress Ink to center of flowers, Wild Honey and Scattered Straw Distress Ink to flower petals with sponge dauber.  Shape flowers and leaves with Paper Blossoms Molding Mat and Tool Kit.  Assemble flower and add Flax Glitter to petals and Brown Gala Glitz to flower center with Dries Clear Adhesive.  Add leaves and sunflower to card front with pop dots.  Add a Mocha Dew Drop to bottom left corner with Dries Clear Adhesive.  Using the Luggage and Tags Die cut out four tags from the Sunflower Paper Collection and then add Flax Glitter to the sunflower petals on the design paper of tags and on the front tag add Earth Flower Soft to sunflower center.  Next add twine ribbon and brad to wholes in tags.  Finally, tuck tags in pocket on card.

HEARTFELT CREATIONS ENCOURAGEMENT CARD

Good Morning!  It's Wednesday and that means it's time for me to share another card I created for Heartfelt Creations.  I designed this card using the All Geared Up Collection.  It seems like I know several people who are struggling with cancer right now and this card would be a perfect encouragement card to send to someone dealing with an illness.  This paper collection has some great encouraging words to use in card making.

Using the All Geared Up Paper and Die cut a leaf, a large gear and medium gear.  Add Walnut Brown Metallic 3D Stamp Paint to the large gear and Copper 3D Stamp Paint to the small gear.  Adhere to card front as shown and add Silver Rhinestones to centers of gears.  Add sprocket flower to image with pop dot.  Add "Strength" and "Courage" labels cut from design paper and finish by adding Mocha Trail Dew Drops to corners of cards and edges of labels with Dries Clear Adhesive.

Instructions:

1.  Create a 5" x 7" card base out of Bazzill cardstock.

2.  Cut a 5" x 7" red piece of Heartfelt Creations Festive Paper.

3.  Die cut a cream piece of HC Festive Paper with the 4 7/8" x 6 7/8" from the S6-001 5 X 7 Matting Basics A and matte it on the red cardstock.

4.  Die cut a green piece of HC Festive Paper with the 4 5/8" x 6 5/8" die and the 2 1/8" x 4 1/8" die from the S6-012 5 X 7 Mystical Embrace set.

5.  Die cut a red piece of the HC Festive paper with the 2 3/8" x 4 3/8" die from the S6-001 5 X 7 Matting Basics A and matte it on the green cardstock that has been die cut with the Mystical Embrace set.

6.  Weave the 1 1/2" ribbon under the sides of green cardstock cut with the Mystical Embrace large die and over the center of the red design paper, finishing by folding the ribbon edges over to the back of the 5" x 7"  card front and securing with Scor-Tape.  With Dries Clear Adhesive secure green cardstock that has been cut with the Mystical Embrace die to the cream matte.

Adhere entire card front to card base and finish with a bow.

7.  Die cut a cream piece of HC Festive Paper with the 2 1/8" x 4 1/8" die from the S6-012 5 X 7 Mystical Embrace set.  Stamp and emboss sentiment and spray die cut with Spray & Sparkle Iridescent Spray.  Adhere to card front as show and add large LeCreme Pearls to edges of sentiment and add  Sleek Strips 6" Pearls - LeCreme - Self Adhesive along the green die cut, cutting to fit just the width of where the ribbon is inserted.

8.  Along edge of the red die cut paper add Sleek Strips 6" Silver Rhinestones - Self Adhesive, cutting to fit as needed, and then at each corner add a medium Silver Rhinestone from the 72 Count - Silver/Clear Rhinestones - Self Adhesive set.

                               

9.  Along the straight edge of the green paper die cut with the Mystical Embrace die add Sleek Strips 6" Pearls - LeCreme - Self Adhesive, cutting to fit as needed, and then at each corner add a medium LeCreme Pearl from the 72 Count - LeCreme Pearls - Self Adhesive set.

Instructions:

1.  Create a 5" x 7" card base out of Bazzill cardstock.

2.  Die cut a piece of cream Heartfelt Creations Christmas Card Paper with the 4 7/8" x 6 7/8" die from the S6-001 5 X 7 Matting Basics A and a piece of blue HC Christmas Card Paper with the 4 3/8" x 6 3/8" die.  Matte the blue piece of paper onto the cream paper and then adhere to the card base.

3.  Die cut the nativity scene from the design paper using S4-116 Standard Circles SM and matte on navy Bazzill cardstock that has been die cut with the largest die from S4-292 Beaded Circles.

                                    

4.  Add Art Glitter Ultrafine Transparent Glitter - Flax & Gingerbread Glitter to the image using Dries Clear Adhesive.  Add a small rhinestones from the 72 Count - Amber Rhinestones - Self Adhesive set to the star.

5.  Add large Cranberry Pearls and LeCreme Pearls around the Beaded Oval die cut.

            

6.  Add a Swirls Finesse - LeCreme Pearls - Self Adhesive and some more Cranberry Pearls to the card front.

                    

7.  Die cut a piece of brown paper and the sentiment from HC Christmas Card Paper with the S4-448 Victorian Tags.  Also add Steel Blue Pearls to the tag and adhere to the card front with pop dots.
