HEARTFELT CREATIONS - MARCH 13, 2013

I created this 12" x 12" vintage layout that really showcases the beautiful new Posy Patch Paper Collection.  Also the little bird sitting on the flowery branch, that I colored with Copics, is also a new stamp in this collection that can be found in the Feathered Friends PreCut Set.

VINTAGE BIRD & BUTTERFLY LAYOUT

The card I created this week features this cute little bunny from the new Butterfly & Bunny PreCut Set.  I matted the bunny on Heartfelt Creations Layered Scalloped Posy Die and embellished the flowers on the HC Posy Patch Paper with Tattered Angels Glimmer Glam and Want2Scrap Pearls.

Instructions:

12" x 12" layout

Begin with a sheet of HC Posy Patch Paper and the coordinating tag and add Black Diamond Stickles to all flower centers on page and with Dries Clear Glue and Metal Fine Tip add light green glitter from Antique Rose Pee Wee Kit to all leaves on page.  When dry matte tag on plum metallic cardstock and adhere to page with pop dots.  Then stamp small swirls from Posy Patch Swirls Set in upper right corner and in center of page with Forrest Moss Distress Ink.  On Cryogen White Paper with Espresso Truffle Ink stamp 8 of the smallest and 4 of the next smallest posies from the Posy Patch Flowers Set and color with Copics.  With Dries Clear Glue adhere posies to Posy Patch Swirls on page and add Black Diamond Stickles to Posy centers.  Out of green metallic cardstock die cut Romantic Rectangle and Grand Decorative Ovals One.  Cut pictures and adhere to page with appropriate Spellbinders shape.  Out of gold metallic cardstock die cut hanger for birdcage from Decorative Metals Fixtures Die and out of plum metallic cardstock die cut and emboss small birdcage from Bird Sanctuary.  Adhere to page with Dries Clear Glue.  On Cryogen White Paper with Espresso Truffle Ink stamp butterfly from Delicate Asters & Butterflies Set and color with Copics.  Die cut with Les Papillions.  Adhere to page with pop dots and add Frost Smooch Glitz to butterfly wings.  On Cryogen White Paper with Espresso Truffle Ink stamp bird from Feathered Friends Set and one small flower from Open Vintage Floret Set and one small flower from Mini Vintage Floret Set.  Color with Copics.  Detail cut out bird and die cut out flowers using Vintage Floret Die.  Adhere to page as shown with Dries Clear Glue.  Add Pink Fizz Smooch Glitz to flower center and light green glitter from Antique Rose Pee Wee Kit to leaves.  With Dries Clear Glue add Dew Drops to Center of bird cage and by tag on upper middle of page.

Instructions:

6" x 6" Card

Begin with a 12" x 6" piece of peach Bazzill cardstock and score on the 6" mark to create a 6" square card base.  Next take a 5 3/4" square piece of HC Posy Patch Paper and paint Twinkle Toes Glimmer Glam on the flowers on the design paper.  Then out of peach Bazzill cardstock die cut the Decorative Posy Topper Large and out of green Bazzill cardstock die cut the Decorative Layered Posy Topper Large from the  Layered Scalloped Posy Die.  Adhere pieces to each other and then to card front with Dries Clear Glue.  Wrap ribbon around center of Layered Scalloped Posy piece and finish with a bow.  Add Platinum Stickles to center of posies on die cut.  On Cryogen White with Memento Ink stamp bunny from Butterfly and Bunny Set and color with Copics.  Add Polar White Flower Soft to bunny's tail.  Add Icicle Glitter to ground under bunny's feet.  Add LeCreme Pearls to flower centers, including flower on stamped image.  Add Candi with pop dots to upper right hand corner.
