Heartfelt Creations

I made three projects this week for Heartfelt Creations and they are all Christmas cards.


EVERLASTING LIGHT CARD

Instructions:
Card Size 5 1/2" x 4 1/4"
Start with an A2 card base made out of Recollection - Kraft colored paper.  Next from K&Company cream patterned paper cut a 5 1/2" x 4 1/2" rectangle and adhere to front of card base.  From DCWV green holly paper cut a strip 1 3/4" x 4 1 /4" and use scalloped punch along both long sides.  Attach to cream card front.  Next on Cryogen White paper stamp candle from HCPC 3419 Holiday Poinsettia Candle PreCut Set and stamp sentiment from HCPC 3431 Nativity Scene PreCut Set.  Color candle with Copics and then detail cut out candle. Apply Yellow Stickles to poinsettia centers and Frosted Lace Stickles to wax portion of candle.  Cut out sentiment and use a scalloped corner rounder on corners.  Distress edges with Antique Linen Distress Ink and mat on pink Bazzill Bling cardstock.  Attach candle and sentiment to card front with pop dots.

POINSETTIA DOVE

  • Embellishments:  Stickles - Golden Rod, Ranger Perfect Pearls Mist - Perfect Pearl, Liquid Pearls - Platinum Pearl, Recollections Bling on a Roll, Ribbon, Charm

Instructions:
Card Size 5 1/2" x 4 1/4"
Start with an A2 card base made out of Recollection - Kraft colored paper.  Next out of parchment colored cardstock cut a 5 1/2" x 4 1/4" rectangle and with Walnut Stain Distress Ink stamp HCPC 3427 Herald Angels Background.  Spray with Ranger Perfect Pearls Mist and heat set.  Attach to card base and wrap red organdy ribbon around card center adhering with Scor-Tape.  Next cut a 2" x 4 1/4" strip from K&Company holly paper and punch one long side with scalloped punch.  Apply Bling on a Roll to side that is not scalloped and adhere holly cardstock to along right side of card front on top of Herald Angels Background.  Next on Cryogen White stamp HCPC 3420 Holiday Dove with Memento Ink - Tuxedo Black and color with Copics.  Use HCD 715 Christmas Cheer Die to cut Dove out.  Apply Golden Rod Stickles to flower centers and Liquid Pearls - Platinum Pearl to eye of Dove.  Adhere to card front with pop dots.  With the ribbon make a bow adding a charm to the center.  Adhere bow to card front with a glue dot.

MERRY CHRISTMAS BELLS

  • Ink:  Memento - Tuxedo Black

  • Punch:  EK Success - Scalloped Scallop
  • Embellishments:  Ribbon, Stickles - Golden Rod & X-mas Red

Instructions:
Card Size 5 1/2" x 4 1/4"
Start with an A2 card base made out of Recollection - Kraft colored paper.  Next out of olive green colored cardstock cut a 5 1/4" x 4" rectangle and adhere to card base.  Then cut out 5" x 3 3/4" rectangle from the Echo Park paper and attach to olive green cardstock.  On Cryogen White paper with Memento Ink stamp all three images from HCPC 3422 Poinsettia Cheer Bells PreCut Set.  Color all three image with Copics. Detail cut out ribbon with poinsettia and cut bells out using HCD 715 Christmas Cheer Die.  Add Golden Rod Stickles to centers of flowers and leaf accents and X-mas Red Stickles to holly berries on small bell.  Attach bells to front of card with pop dots.  Attach stamped ribbon with double pop dots at top of large bell for added dimension.  Make a bow out of gold ribbon and attach with a glue dot at top of small bell.  Next take a 1 3/4" square of olive green cardstock and cut in half to make a triangle and then take a 1 1/2" square of Echo Park patterned paper and cut in half to make a triangle.  Take the patterned paper triangle and use the scalloped  punch along the long edge and then mat on green triangle.  Finally, attach to corner of card.
