Heartfelt Creations

I have been busy working on holiday projects for Heartfelt Creations.  I can't believe Christmas is around the corner.  I still have a lot to do around the house to get ready, but I am looking forward to time with family and friends over the holidays.

The first card I am sharing this week  for me is pretty simple since I didn't take the time to do any of my usual shading and coloring with Copics.  I haven't done much embossing, but I think I may start doing more because it was really fun and easy!

Instructions:
Card Size 5" x 7"
Start with a 7" x 10" piece of cream cardstock and score at the 5" mark to create a 5" x 7" card base.  Next with Old Paper Distress Ink stamp the corner flourish from HCPC 3436 Rye Grass Flourish PreCut Set in each corner.  Out of blue Bazzill Bling paper cut the Decorative Window Die and out of the dark blue Bazzill Bling paper cut the rectangular tag from the Spellbinders Fancy Tags Three.  Next on white Bazzill paper with clear embossing ink stamp the large Christmas tree from the HCPC 3432 Magnificent Spruce Trees PreCut Set and use gold embossing powder.  Heat set.  Then spray with Ranger Perfect Pearls Mist and heat set again.  Carefully cut tree out so white paper does not show beyond edge of inside frame of window frame die securing with 1/8" Scor-Tape as needed.  Adhere window frame to card front with Dries Clear Adhesive.  Apply navy blue Candi to top corners with pop dots.  Then with clear embossing ink stamp the "Oh holy night" sentiment from HCPC 3430 Shepherd Scene PreCut Set on white cardstock and use gold embossing powder.  Heat set.  Use a straight edge trimmer and cut to fit the tag and adhere to tag.  Next with adhesive apply gold ribbon and then the tag onto the bottom portion of the card.

The next project I did this week involved an angel I had around the house.  I added a few embellishments to her and created a music themed tag with Heartfelt Creation Products and created a beautiful gift idea.  I am entering my Silent Night Angel with Tag this week in the Our Craft Lounge Challenge #96 - Handmade Holiday .

With white Bazzill paper create a tag by cutting a piece of cardstock 3 1/2" x 6 3/4".  On the top corners cut  one corner at an angle and then use the cut piece as a pattern (so the corners will be even) to cut the other corner.  On the bottom of the tag use the Scalloped edge punch.  Next emboss the tag with the D'Vine Swirls embossing folder.  Spray tag with Forrest Green Glimmer Mist and heat set. Then spray tag with Perfect Pearls Heirloom Gold and heat set.  Adhere gold Ribbon near 1/4 of the way from the top and 1/4 of the way from the bottom of the tag.  On Cryogen White with Memento Ink stamp the small bell from the Scenic Christmas Bells set. Color with Copics and then cut out with the coordinating die from HCD 715 Christmas Cheer Die. Adhere bell with pop dots to tag.  Then with Walnut Stain Distress Ink stamp angel with horn from Elegant Angels set and cut out with the appropriate die from HCD 715 Christmas Cheer Die.  Spray with Moonlight Glimmer Mist and heat set.  Add rhinestones with I-Rock tool to Angel and brown glittered brads and adhere with pop dots to tag.  With Memento ink stamp large book from Book Frame 2 set three times.  On one book color book cover and pages with Copics B97 & E42 and cut out with coordinating Spellbinders Labels 7 Nestabilities.  On the other two books stamp Silent Night music from Holiday Poinsettia Candle set in Walnut Stain Distress Ink.  Detail cut second and third books out without book cover.Distress book pages with Old Paper Distress Ink and edges with Walnut Stain Distress Ink.   Attach bottom pages of book with Scor-Tape and add pop dots between next layer of pages.  Adhere ribbon to center of book.  Adhere book to tag with pop dots.  Add musical brads to tag.  Finally, tie tag to decorated angel with ribbon.

The next card I created features Heartfelt Creations Shepherd's Scene Stamp and I also embossed it.   I am entering it in Joan's Garden's Weekly Challenge #14 - create a quick Christmas card.

Cut one 4 1/4” x 4 1/4” piece of cardstock out of kraft cardstock and one 4 1/4"” x 8 1/2” piece of kraft cardstock.  Score the 4 1/4” x 8 1/2” cardstock at the 4 1/4” and the 6 3/8” measurement lines on the Scor-Pal or other scoring tool.  Prefold all score lines.  First fold the card in half, then at the second score line (6 3/8”) fold the opposite direction.  Place the card on the table with the 4 1/4” side down.  Add double sided tape to the 2 1/8”  x 4 1/4” section cardstock facing up. Now attach the precut 4 1/4” x 4 1/4” piece of cardstock to the base, lining it up to make a perfect square.  This creates the easel card base. Next cut a 4 1/4" x 4 1/4" piece of red cardstock and attach to top of card and cut a 3" x 4 1/4" piece of poinsettia patterned paper and apply to card base.  Adhere ribbon to center of cardstock on card base and on center of cardstock on card top.  Stamp Angel with a Harp from the Elegant Angels set on Cryogen White paper with Walnut Distress Ink and cut out with coordinating HCD 715 Christmas Cheer Die.  Color angel with Copics.  Spray with Perfect Pearls Mist and heat set.  Add I-Rock crystals and X-mas Red Stickles as shown. Adhere with pop dots to top front of card centering on ribbon.  Add pearls Bling on a String to each top corner.  Stamp the sentiment on Cryogen White paper with Walnut Stain Distress Ink and cut out with a straight trimmer.  Distress Edges with Antique Linen Distress Ink and matte on red cardstock.  Adhere to card base with pop dots centering on ribbon.

And finally this week, I made an ornament out of this scenic Heartfelt Creations Christmas Bell that I colored with Copics and then I used chunky glitter to make it sparkle!
