Want2Scrap and Spellbinders Whimsical Woodland Blog Fest

I am excited to be on the Want2Scrap Blog today participating in the Spellbinders Whimsical Woodland Blog Fest. For the blog hop I created a Forest Fox Treat Box, which is a perfect way to hold all the sweet candies we enjoy in the Fall!

I was given S2-193 Spellbinders Shapeabilities D-Lite Forest Fox Die and S6-013 Spellbinders Card Creator 5 x 7 Modern Stationary Die to work with. I also used S6-002 Spellbinders Card Creator 5 x 7 Matting Basics B for the base of the box.

Using Brown on Brown Glitter Cardstock, using the largest die from the 5 x 7 Matting Basics B, I die one piece for the base of the box and using the next to the smallest die from the 5 x 7 Modern Stationary Die, I die cut two pieces for the sides of the box. Using the Honeycomb Daisy Glitter Cardstock with the smallest die from the 5 x 7 Modern Stationary Die, I die cut one piece and matted it onto the larger Brown Glitter Cardstock die cut with the Modern Stationary Die. To create the base of the box, I die cut another piece of Brown Glitter Cardstock with the 5 x 7 Matting Basics B die and scored it 1 1/2" from the edge on each side of the 5" sides and scored 1 1/4" from the edge on each side of the 7" sides. On the 7" sides, I cut on the score line up to the horizontal score lines and folded the sides up and adhered it to create the box base. I then adhered the sides to the box.

Next using tan and burnt orange colored cardstock, I die cut and embossed the fox using the Forest Fox Die. After assembling the fox I added small Brown Rhinestones for the eyes. I then adhered the Forest Fox to the Treat Box with pop dots.

Finally, I added the Want2Scrap Swirls Finesse - Brown Rhinestones, cutting to fit, and an Orange Rhinestone to decorate the box, and filled the Treat Box with caramels.
