JULY HEARTFELT CREATIONS ALUMNI DESIGN TEAM BLOG HOP

I teach monthly card classes at my local craft store.  The ladies in my class like to make quick and simple cards so that they have a stack of cards ready to send for all occassions.  This is one of the cards we made in class.  It features the Majestic Morning Paper Collection and the bouquet stamp from the Floral Clocks PreCut Set.

THE ROBIN'S NEST SILVER HEART CARD

Today I am sharing a card that was featured on The Robin's Nest Blog using the Wedding {in love} Collection.  This card features the Silver Classic Glitter Swirl Vellum paper layered over Teal Glitter Cardstock.  I then added some ribbon down the center and embellished it with the heart from the Wedding Die-Cuts and Early Dawn Dew Drops.  I then cut out the "love" from Wedding Cut-Outs Cardstock and distressed the edges with Tim Holtz Tumbled Glass Distress Ink.  I adhered it to the silver circle embellishment from the  Wedding Die-Cuts and added a flower that I made from die cutting the Silver Classic Glitter Swirl Vellum paper with Heartfelt Creations Ariana Blooms Die and adding a Black Dew Drop to the flower center. 

Finally, I finished the card by adding more Early Dawn Dew Drops to the upper left corner.  Have a great day!

THE ROBIN'S NEST WEDDING COLLECTION SNEAK PEAK

WANT2SCRAP® MULBERRY FLOWERS AND PEARLS

Today I am sharing a card featuring beautiful Mulberry Paper Flowers from Want2Scrap.  The design paper for this 6" x 6" card is from Graphic 45s Botanical Tea Collection and the beautiful brown crinkle ribbon is from May Arts.

I stamped my sentiment from Graphic 45 Botanical Tea 2 Cling Stamp set with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on Cryogen White Paper die cut with  Spellbinders Classic Ovals SM.  I colored the teapot with Copics and distressed the edges of the oval with Antique Linen Tim Holtz Distress Ink.  I then matted it on pink G45 design paper die cut with Spellbinders Floral Ovals.  Out of green Bazzill cardstock I die cut the leaves using the leaf die from Heartfelt Creations HCD 740 - Sweet Juliet Die.  I then added the Want2Scrap® 3/8" Mulberry Paper Flowers with Art Glitter Designer Dries Clear Adhesive to the die cut leaves.

Finally I added LeCreme Pearls, Pink Pearls, and Swirls Finesse - LeCreme Pearls,  which coordinates with the colors perfectly,  to finish this beautiful card!

Finally, the last card I created with the The Robin's Nest Lodge collection features Outdoors Stickers and Red Plain Linen Cardstock.  I added the leaf from the Lodge Die Cuts and the canvas sentiment from the Wedding Die Cuts.  I finished the card with Mini Dew Drops and Diamond Dew Drops.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO A SPECIAL GUY

This 5" x 7" Birthday  Card uses The Robin's Nest Lodge Die Cuts, Birch Tree Paper Straws and Red Plain Linen Cardstock. I stamped a sentiment from Heartfelt Creations on one of  the TRN Outdoors Stickers I applied to the card.  

I finished the card by adding  Black Forest Mini Dew Drops and Mocha Trail Dew Drops.  Have a great day!

FOREST TREES CARD WITH THE ROBIN'S NEST

Another card I made for The Robin's Nest uses their Lodge Collection design paper  Forest Trees Specialty Paper,  Wrap Glitter Cardstock and Sour Apple Glitter Cardstock.   The bird image I used is from the Lodge Cut Outs Cardstock and the birds and tree branch are from Lodge Die Cuts.    I added some Mocha Trail Dew Drops and the stamped sentiment is from Heartfelt Creations Western Sentiments Stamp Set.

RELAX WITH FISHING AND THE ROBIN'S NEST

I wanted to recap some of the cards I made for my design team work for The Robin's Nest.  Today  I am showing you the card I created  features The Robin's Nest Fishing Rub-Ons, trees from the Lodge Die Cuts, Mini Dew Drops and a stamped sentiment from Heartfelt Creations.  I used the Mens Plain/Compass Cardstock and Wrap Glitter Cardstock.
