HEARTFELT CREATIONS ALUMNI DESIGN TEAM - SEPTEMBER BLOG HOP

Today is the last Tuesday of the month and that means it is time for Heartfelt Creations Alumni Design Team Monthly Blog Hop.  You should have arrived here from Debbie Seyer's  Blog.

 

I have created a card using Heartfelt Creations Burst of Splendor Collection.  I absolutely adore this collection, from the gorgeous paper to the beautiful dahlia stamp!

 

To create the 3D flower I stamped the  blooming dahlia from HCPC 3549 - Blooming Dahlia Set and the flowers from HCPC 3534 - Striped Sun Kissed Fleur Set on Cryogen White Paper and colored them with Copics. I then detail cut out the blooming dahlia with scissors and die cut out the flowers using  HCD 734 - Sun Kissed Fleur Die.  I then layered the Striped Sun Kissed Fleurs on Blooming Dahlia to create the 3D dahlia. 

 

 

To finish off the card I added some Want2Scrap® Swirls Finesse - LeCreme Pearls.

Instructions:

5" x 7" Card

Begin with a 10" x 7" piece of yellow Bazzill cardstock and score on the 5" mark to create a 5" x 7" card base.  Next adhere a 4 1/2" x 7" piece of HC Burst of Splendor Paper on card base.  Add Crystal Glitter with Metal Glue Tip and Dries Clear Glue to flowers of design paper.   Add ribbon, finishing with a bow.  Add Gold Pearl Brad to center of bow and adhere to card.   On Cryogen White Paper with Memento Ink stamp blooming dahlia from HCPC 3549 - Blooming Dahlia Set, flowers from HCPC 3534 - Striped Sun Kissed Fleur Set and leaves from HCPC 3546 - Classic Leaf Set.  Color with Copics.  Detail cut out blooming dahlia and die cut out flowers and leaves using HCD 736 - Classic Leaf Die and HCD 734 - Sun Kissed Fleur Die.  Attach to card with pop dots, layering Striped Sun Kissed Fleurs on Blooming Dahlia to create a 3D flower.  Add Want2Scrap® Swirls Finesse to upper right corner.
