Heartfelt Creations

It is time for some more Heartfelt Creations projects.  I have been enjoying the new Heartfelt Creations stamps that were released for Christmas this year.  They are so beautiful!

HOLIDAY DOVE EASEL CARD

Heartfelt Creations Products:
  • HCPC 3420 Holiday Dove PreCut Set
  • HCPC 3421 Dove of Peace PreCut Set
  • HCD 715 Christmas Cheer Die
Other Products:
  • Spellbinders - Classic Ovals LG, Classic Scalloped Ovals LG
  • Paper - Cryogen White, Bazzill, K&Company
  • Ink - Memento-Tuxedo Black, VersaMark Dazzle Champagne, Ranger Distress Ink - Old Paper
  • Copics - R81, R83, R85, R89, E40, E42, E43, Y19, B91, B93, B95, B97, B99
  • Embellishments - Ranger Liquid Pearls - Buttercup
  • Scor-Pal
Instructions:
Cut one 4 ¼” x 4 ¼” piece of cardstock out of dark rose cardstock and one 4 ¼” x 8 ½” piece of brown cardstock.  Score the 4 ¼” x 8 ½” cardstock at the 4 1/4” and the 6 3/8” measurement lines on the Scor-Pal or other scoring tool.  Prefold all score lines.  First fold the card in half, then at the second score line (6 3/8”) fold the opposite direction.  Place the card on the table with the 4 ¼” side down.  Add double sided tape to the 2 1/8”  x 4 ¼” section cardstock facing up. Now attach the precut 4 ¼” x 4 ¼” piece of cardstock to the base, lining it up to make a perfect square.  This creates the easel card base.  Cut a piece of light rose card stock 4" x 4" and a piece of brown cardstock 3 3/4" x 3 3/4".  Take the brown cardstock 3 3/4" x 3 3/4" square and with VersaMark Dazzle Champagne ink use the swirls stamp from the HCPC 3420 Holiday Dove PreCut Set and stamp several times. Mat brown cardstock on top of light rose cardstock and mat both on top of dark rose cardstock.  Next, color dove with Copics on Cryogen White cardstock and then cut out with HCD 715 Christmas Cheer Die.  Add Ranger Liquid Pearls to center of flowers and let dry.  With Spellbinders dies cut out oval in Cryogen White and appropriate scalloped oval from dark rose cardstock.  Stamp sentiment from HCPC 3421 Dove of Peace Precut Set on Cryogen White and then distress edges with Ranger Distress Ink - Old Paper.  Cut a piece of patterned paper cardstock 4 1/4" x 2 1/2" and attach to base of easel card.  On top of that with pop dots attach sentiment.  I use 2 layers of pop dots to make it stand up higher since this is what makes the easel card stand up.  Then with pop dots attach dove to front of card on brown cardstock.

CHRISTMAS TREE CARD

Heartfelt Creations Products:
  • HCPC 3428 - Script Christmas Tree PreCut Set

Other Products:
  • Paper - Echo Park "Season's Greetings"
  • Ink - Ranger Distress Ink - Walnut Stain
  • Embellishments - Brown Grosgrain Ribbon, Twine, Button

Instructions:

A2 Card (4 1/4" x 5 1/2")
Cut a piece of beige cardstock 8 1/2" x 5 1/2".  Score at 4 1/4" mark and fold to make card base.  Next cut a striped cardstock piece 4" x 5 1/4".  Adhere ribbon to bottom of striped cardstock and attach to card base.  Stamp Script Christmas Tree on green cardstock.  This tree does coordinate with the Spellbinders 2010 Holiday Tree Shapeabilities, but if you do not have it trace around the stamp with a pencil and cut out. Adhere tree to front of card with pop dots.  Put twine in holes of button and tie knot.  Adhere button with pop dot at top of the tree.
