Snowflake Chipboard Holiday Tag

Today I am sharing my Snowflakes Chipboard Holiday Tag featuring Want2Scrap's Snowflakes #2 Chipboard Embellishment and the Snowflakes #3 Chipboard Embellishment.  I decorated this 3 1/4" x 6 1/4" Tag using design paper from Echo Park.


First, I painted the Snowflakes #2 Chipboard Embellishment and the Snowflakes #3 Chipboard Embellishment with a thin coat of Gesso.  Then for the gold snowflake I inked it with Tsukineko Brilliance Pigment Ink in Galaxy Gold, added Wow Embossing Powder/Glitter in NuBean Sparkle, tapped off the excess and heat set it.  For the white snowflake I inked it with Tsukineko Brilliance Pigment Ink in Platinum Planet, added Ranger Embossing Powder in Snowflake Tinsel, tapped off the excess and heat set it.  I then added a LeCreme Pearl to the gold snowflake and several Iridescent Rhinestones to the white snowflake.  I adhered the snowflakes to the tag using Pop Dot Adhesive Double Sided Glue Dots, cutting them to fit as needed, and layering them as needed to create the desired height.


I added Sleek Strips 6" Pearls in LeCreme to the top and bottom of the tag.  Next I added the cream seam binding to the tag and added Decorative Bells in Gold to the end of each ribbon.

Just Because Birdhouse Card

Today on the Want2Scrap Blog I am sharing my Just Because Birdhouse Card featuring Want2Scrap's Birdhouses Chipboard Embellishment.  The design paper is from Echo Park's  Fine and Dandy 6 x 6 Paper Pad.  I added Sprinkle 'N Sparkle Starfire Semi-Transparent Glitter (G1017) to the design paper to add some sparkle.  I also used Spellbinders Nestabilities A Gilded Life Petite Pennants Etched Dies to cut the design paper.


I colored the Birdhouse Chipboard Embellishment with Viva Decor 3D Stamp Paint in Walnut Brown and SilverGold. To create the shingles on the birdhouse, I used a Wow Embossing Pen and Sparkle 'N Sprinkle Fiery Brown Embossing Powder (EP369)  and heat set it.  Also, I added some Swirls Finesse - White Pearls, cutting to fit.


The sentiment is from Sparkle 'N Sprinkles' Thinking of You Stamp Set (769P6) and I embossed the sentiment using Bull Frog Embossing Powder (EP404).  I finished the card by adding Sage Green Pearls and cutting a couple coral pearls from a Nestabling Beaded Square Coral Pearl set to use as an embellishment.

Hang In There Owl Step Card

I created this step card using Insert D from Heartfelt Creations HCFP1-434-3 Pocket and Flipfold Inserts B - Kraft package, which made it super easy.

Instructions: To create this 5" x 7" pocket card use the Insert D (21" x 7" when fully extended) from  HCFP1-434-3 Pocket and Flipfold Inserts B - Kraft.  Cover all piece of the step card with design paper from the Sugar Hollow Paper Collection and before adhering the paper distress the edges with coordinating chalk ink in either Wisteria, Lime Pastel or Pink Pastel.  On Cryogen White Paper with Tuxedo Black Ink stamp the owl family from the You're a Hoot Set, stamp the family tree from the Sugar Hollow Tree Set, stamp the branch and some leaves from the Leafy Branch Set and stamp the owl from the Sugar Hollow Bungalow Collection Set.  Color all with Copics and die cut with coordinating dies.  Add glitter as desired and add Yellow Stickles to all the owls eyes.  Also add Morroco Elements to the nest in the tree with Dries Clear Adhesive. With Berrylicious Chalk Ink stamp the flowers from the Leafy Branch Set on pink design paper and die cut with coordinating die.  Add Glitter and  Lilac Prills rills to the flower Centers.  Using the Border Essentials Die, create a fence using purple design paper.  On Cryogen White Paper that has been die cut with the Cut Mat Create 1B and 2B Die stamp "Hang in there" and "'Owl" always be there for you" sentiments in Watermark Ink and use Whirly Pop and Berrylicious Embossing Powder.  Assemble card as shown.  On back panel of card add Silver Swirl Rhinestones.

Instructions:  Begin by creating a 5" x 7" card base out of white Bazzill cardstock.  Next cut a card front from the Italiana Riviera Paper Collection and trim to a 5" x 5" square.  Using the large square 2B die, cut out the center and distress edges of the die cut piece and the inside square of the card front with Olive Pastel Chalk Ink.  With pop dots add the card front square to the left of the card base and then adhere the die cut center to the card base with Dries Clear Adhesive.  Along the right edge of the card base add the Sleek Strips Purple Rhinestones, cutting to fit as needed.  With Watermark Ink stamp the Sweet Moments sentiment on the card, add Earthtone Grape Embossing Powder, tap off excess and heat set.  Then add Allure Swirls Pearls, cutting to fit as needed, below sentiment.  Next on Cryogen White Paper with Tuxedo Black Ink stamp the image from the Riviera Gateway Stamp Set, the wine bottle, two wine glasses, and the small grape clusters.  Color with Copics.  Detail cut out the image with scissors and adhere to the card with pop dots.  Die cut the wine bottle, wine glasses and small grape clusters using the Italiana Grapevines Die.  Then on light green and dark green design paper for the collection using Dark Brown Chalk Ink stamp the large triple leaf, the small triple leaf and the vining foliage from the Italiana Grapevines Cling Stamp Set and die cut with the coordinating Italiana Grapevine Die.  Also add the small grape clusters to the vining foliage.  On purple design paper with Concord Grape Distress Ink stamp the flowers from the Birds and Blooms Set and die cut with the Leafy Branch Die.  Shape with the flower shaping tool and add Lemon Chiffon Prills to the flower centers and then add to card.  Under the doorway of the colored image with Dries Clear Adhesive add Leaf Green Flower Soft.  With Dries Clear Adhesive and the fine Metal Tip add Crystal Glitter to the flowers, add Lichen Glitter to the leaves, add Bonnie Blue Glitter to the grapes and add Flax Glitter to the sun in the colored image. Add the wine bottle and wine glasses with pop dots and then add 3D Crystal Lacquer to the wine glasses and the wine label on the bottle.

So Grape-Full For You Card

Good morning!  Today is Wednesday and I have another card to share with you created with Heartfelt Creations Italiana Riviera Collection.  This 6" x 6" card features the beautiful HCDP1-259 Italiana Riviera Paper Collection, the grapes from the  HCPC 3696 - Italiana Grapevines Cling Stamp Set, Spellbinders Labels One Card Front Die and Want2Scrap LeCreme Pearls.


                                         

I colored the grape image with Copics and then die cut it with the coordinating die from the HCD1-772 Italiana Grapevines Die set before adding it to the card front with a pop dot.  The sentiment is stamped from the HCPC 3701 Riviera Gateway Cling Stamp Set.

Instructions:  Begin by creating a 6" x 6" side opening card out of green Bazzill Cardstock.  Next die cut a 6" square card front from the Italiana Riviera Paper Collection using the border die from the Spellbinders Labels One Card Front and then adhere to the card base.  Then die cut a piece of purple Bazzill cardstock with the insert die from the Labels One Card Front die.  Using Dries Clear Adhesive and the Metal Glue Tip adhere to card base.  Die cut a cream piece from the paper collection using the coordinating Labels One and add to card front with pop dots.  Then on Cryogen White with Tuxedo Black Ink stamp the grape image from the Italiana Grapevines set and color with Copics.  Die cut grapes with coordinating Italiana Grapevines Die.  With Dries Clear Adhesive add Ensalada Glitter to the leaves on the grapes and then add grapes to Labels One with pop dots.  Next add a Sage Green Pearl to the upper left corner of the Labels One.  Then add LeCreme Pearls to the purple Label One Card Front Insert.  One a piece of the design paper with Watermark Ink stamp the "So grape-full . . . " sentiment from the Riviera Gateway set, add Grape Wow Embossing Powder.  Tap off excess powder and heat set.  Cut out around sentiment and add to card front.

You Inspire Me with Want2Scrap

Today I am sharing a card with you that features the beautiful Want2Scrap Rhinestones and paper, stamps and dies are from Heartfelt Creations All Geared Up Collection.  This collection is on Heartfelt Creations discontinued list, so it is only available until December 12, 2015, or while supplies last.


To accent each gear I added Brown Rhinestones, Orange Rhinestones and Amber Rhinestones.

Instructions:  Begin with a 12" x 6" piece of Bazzill cardstock and score on the 6" mark to create a 6" square card base.  Next with VersaMark Watermark Ink using HCPC 3636 - Cogs and Gears Set stamp the image on a 6" x 6" piece of All Geared Up Paper and add Blue Lagoon Wow Embossing Powder, removing excess and then heat setting.  Adhere paper to the card front.l  Next adhere a green piece of the All Geared Up Paper to the card front leaving the left upper corner free so that it may be folded over to reveal the embossed image.  Then adhere a 1 1/4" x 6" piece of peach colored All Geared Up Paper to the card front.  Next add Chestnut Chalk Ink to all edges of card front.  Then using the All Geared Up Paper, die cut the gears/cogs as shown using the All Geared Up Die and color with Copper and Walnut Brown 3D Stamp Paint and Inka Gold Silver.  Cut the center of the copper and brown cog out and swap with the other center.  Adhere all to the card front as shown with Dries Clear Adhesive and Metal Glue Tip.  Add Brown, Orange and Amber Rhinestones to the centers of the gears and cogs. Next on Cryogen White paper that has been die cut with Spellbinders 5 x 7 Matting Basics A with Memento Ink stamp floral image from HCPC 3632 - Plates and Gears Set and color with Copics.   With Memento Ink stamp "You Inspire Me" image from Plates and Gears Set on All Geared Up Paper and then die cut with coordinating die from the All Geared Up Die Set. Spray image with Gold Glitter Spray & Sparkle Spray.  Then attach with Memo Pin and insert into floral image before matting image on brown All Geared Up Paper that has been die cut with 5 x 7 Detailed Scallops Die.  adhere to card front.  Next  add Crystal Ultrafine Transparent Glitter with Dries Clear Adhesive to the peach colored leaves in the image and a brown Rhinestones to the center of the cog.  Next using the All Geared Up Paper die cut two leaves and two small gears.  Using the Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit shape the two small gears to create a flower.  Add Crystal Ultrafine Transparent Glitter with Dries Clear Adhesive to the petals and Prills to the center of the flower before adhering to the cog in the colored image. Cut bottoms off of both leaves and adhere to leaves on colored image.  Finish by adding the Big Time Brad to the folded corner.

Instructions:  Begin by tracing the shape of the tag on the Sparkling Poinsettia Paper and then cutting it to fit and adhering the paper to the tag with Dries Clear Adhesive.  Use the hole dies from the Luggage and Tags Die and burgundy Poinsettia paper to die cut holes and add it to the hole in the tag with Dries Clear Adhesive and then insert navy seam binding in the hole on the tag.  Next cut out the "Christmas Prayer" from the design paper and matte it on Navy Bazzill cardstock that has been die cut with Spellbinders Card Creator Diamond Effects die.  Add it to the tag with 3D Foam Squares and then put an Iridescent Rhinestones in the corner of the matted Christmas Prayer.  On burgundy and cream Poinsettia Paper and blue Christmas Card Paper with Galaxy Gold Ink stamp the Sparkling Poinsettia Stamp Set and then add Gold Embossing Powder.  Tap off excess and heat set.  Die cut poinsettias using the Sparkling Poinsettia Die.  On green Poinsettia Paper with Galaxy Gold Ink stamp the leaves from the Large Sparkling Poinsettia Set and the Holly Berry Stamp Set and then add Gold Embossing Powder.  Tap off excess and heat set.  Die cut the leaves with the coordinating Large Sparkling Poinsettia Die and the Ornamental Add On Die.  Shape poinsettias and leaves with Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit and layer as shown. Add Cranberry Pearls to the Holly Berry Leaves. For the center of the burgundy and blue poinsettia add golden Rock n' Roll Prills with Dries Clear Adhesive and for the center of the cream poinsettia add blue Rock n' Roll Prills with Dries Clear Adhesive.   On burgundy and blue paper stamp the peacock feather from the Feathery Peacock set with Versamark Ink and add Vanilla Sparkle Embossing Powder.  Tap off excess and heat set.  Die cut feather with coordinating Peacock Paisley Die and then add Teardrop Bling in Silver to the center of each feather. With Dries Clear Adhesive and the Metal Glue Tip add Antique White Glitter to the poinsettias.  Adhere poinsettias, leaves and feathers to the tag as shown.

Shape poinsettias and leaves with Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit and layer as shown.  For the center of the poinsettias use the die cut cream centers and then add Crystal Glitter with Dries Clear Adhesive. Add Cranberry Pearls to the Holly Berry Leaves.  On green, burgundy and blue paper stamp the peacock feather from the Feathery Peacock set with Versamark Ink and add Vanilla Sparkle Embossing Powder.  Tap off excess and heat set.  Die cut feather with coordinating Peacock Paisley Die and then add Teardrop Bling in Silver to the center of each feather.  Next on Cryogen White Paper with Memento Ink stamp the peacock image from the Peacock Swirls Set.  Color with Copics and then die cut with coordinating Peacock Paisley Die.  With Dries Clear Adhesive add Ensalada Glitter to the peacock.  Out of burgundy Poinsettia Paper die cut several small asters with the Delicate Asters Die, shape, layer and add rhinestones to the center.  Add asters to the Peacock image.  Matte "Merry Christmas" sentiment on burgundy paper.  Adhere peacock, feathers, poinsettias, holly leaves and sentiment to card front as shown.  In bottom right corner add Navy and Iridescent Rhinestones.

Blazing Poppy Vase Cards

Today on the Heartfelt Creations blog a couple of my cards feature the HCPC-3676 Blazing Poppy Vase Cling Stamp Set.  For this first card I simply stamped the Blazing Poppy Vase image, colored it with Copics and added a stamped, heat embossed and die cut Blazing Poppy Flower and Delightful Daisy leaf.


For my next project again I stamped the Blazing Poppy Vase image and then I created a mask, before stamping the flower cluster and baby's breathe images from the HCPC-3678 Blazing Poppy Fillers Cling Stamp Set to create a larger bouquet.


I added Hint of Violet Glitter Frosting Flower Soft to the baby's breathe with Dries Clear Adhesive.

Bold Poppy Vase Card

Instructions:  To begin create a 5" x 7" card base out of black DCWV cardstock.  Next adhere a 4 3/4" x 6 3/4" piece of Blazing Poppy Paper to the card base.  Add Crystal Glitter with Dries Clear Adhesive to the poppies on the design paper.  Die cut a piece of the black Blazing Poppy Paper with the Decorative Oval Die and adhere to the card front with the Dries Clear Adhesive using the Metal Glue Tip.  Then on Cryogen White Paper that has been die cut with a Spellbinders Grand Ovals Die, stamp the Blazing Poppy Vase image with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.  Color with Copics.  Distress edges with Spun Sugar Distress Ink.  With Dries Clear Adhesive add Ensalada Glitter to leaves on colored image and then adhere image to Decorative Oval die cut on card front.  Next add a Black Rhinestone to the top and bottom of the Grand Oval colored image.  Then using Watermark Ink stamp the Blazing Poppy Petals Stamp on red Blazing Poppy Paper and add Black Glint Embossing Powder.  Tap off excess and heat set.  Shape poppy with the Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit and layer as shown. Then with Dries Clear Adhesive add Black Gala glitz to the flower center.  Next on green Blazing Poppy Paper stamp a leaf from the Delightful Daisies Stamp Set with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and then die cut with the coordinating die from the Delightful Daisy Die set.  Shape leaf and then add Ensalada Glitter to the leaf.  Add leaf and poppy to the colored image on the card front.

Instructions:  Begin by creating a 5" x 7" card base.  Next adhere a piece of striped design paper from the Blazing Poppy Paper Collection to the card base.  Then using the Spellbinders Grand Decorative Ovals die, cut a piece of the green design paper and using the Grand Ovals die cut a piece of the black design paper from the Blazing Poppy Paper.  Using the next smallest Grand Ovals die, cut a piece of Cryogen White Paper and stamp the vase image from the Blazing Poppy Vase Set with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.  Then create a mask, covering the image you just stamped, and then with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink stamp the Baby's Breathe and flower cluster from the Blazing Poppy Fillers Cling Stamp Set to create a larger bouquet.  Color image with Copics.  For the Baby's Breathe, add Hint of Violet Glitter Frosting Flower Soft with Dries Clear Adhesive.  Add Crystal Glitter with Dries Clear Adhesive to the leaves in the image. Matte colored image to the black die cut oval and then matte that to the green die cut decorative oval, adding entire image to the card front with pop dots.  On Cryogen White Paper with Tuxedo Black Ink stamp the Blazing Poppy Petals, color with red Copics and die cut with coordinating the Blazing Poppy Die.  Shape petals with Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit and then layer petals to create a large poppy.  Adhere to colored image.  With Dries Clear Adhesive add Black Gala Glitz to the center of the 3D poppy and also the poppy in the colored image.  Die cut the oval tag from the Design Paper with the Luggage and Tags Die.  Add oval tag to card front and add a Silver Rhinestone to the hole on the tag.   Finally at the top of the colored image add Black Rhinestones - Swirls Finesse and some Red Rhinestones, cutting the Swirls as needed.
