Tropical Paradise Flipfold Card

Hello everyone!  Today I am sharing my Tropical Paradise Flipfold card.  I created this card using Heartfelt Creations Pocket and Flipfold Inserts B - White.  This card features Heartfelt Creations Tropical Paradise Collection.

I colored the parrot from Tropical Paradise Cling Stamp Set with inks using Heartfelt Creations Stack and Store Daubers.

Instructions:   Create a side folding card out of the Pocket and Flipfold Inserts B.  Cut the design paper from the Tropical Paradise Paper Collection to fit each side of the card flipfold, including the decorative strips.  Sponge edges of each paper with coordinating colors of Memento Inks in Cantaloupe, Danube Blue, Rhubarb Stalk and Bamboo Leaves.  Adhere design paper to white card base. On white card stock with Tuxedo Black Ink stamp the flowers with the Tropical Plumeria Stamp Set, the parrot from the Tropical Paradise Stamp Set, and the leaves from the Tropical Cockatoo Stamp Set.  Die cut all with coordinating dies. Using the Stack and Store Daubers color the leaves using New Sprout and Bamboo Leaves Memento Inks, and the flowers with a combination of Cantaloupe and Tangelo Memento Inks and the parrot with New Sprout, Danube Blue, Lady Bug and Dandelion Memento Inks. Shape the parrot, petals and leaves using the Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit and assemble flower with hot glue gun and adhere flower and leaves to card as shown.  Mix Hot Mama Prills and Go Man Go Prills together and add to flower center, using Dries Clear Adhesive.  Add Lichen Glitter to the leaves, Orange Crush Glitter to the flowers, Crystal and Mardi Gras Glitter to the die cut parrot and the parrot on the design paper.  Finally, adhere a Orange Rhinestone to the upper corner and Blue and Green Rhinestones to the bottom yellow panel, as shown.  Add 3-D Crystal Lacquer to parrot's eyes.

Strawberry Stand Step Card

Even though it has been February we have had some really warm days, so I have been thinking about how Summer will be here before we know it.  My Strawberry Stand Step Card reminds me of those warm Summer days ahead!  This card features Heartfelt Creations Berry Cafe Collection.

I created this Step Card with one of Heartfelt Creations Pocket and Flipfold Inserts B in White.

Instructions:  Create a step card out of one of the Pocket and Flipfold Inserts B in White.  Next cut design paper from the Berry Cafe Paper Collection to fit each of the front panels of the card base. Sponge edges of yellow design paper with Squeezed Lemonade Distress Ink and blue design paper with Ice Blue Chalk Ink.  Adhere design papers to card base as shown.  On Cryogen White Paper with Tuxedo Black Ink stamp the strawberry stand using the Berry Cafe Stamp Set, stamp the fence and the bee hive using the Sweet as Honey Stamp Set, stamp the vining berries using the Blooming Berries Stamp Set and on white cardstock stamp several blossoms using the Berry Blossoms Stamp Set.  Die cut all with coordinating dies.  Color the center of the blossoms with a sponge dauber and Spun Sugar Distress Ink.  Color the strawberry stand, fence, bee hive and strawberries with Copics.  With the Flower Shaping Tools lightly shape the bee hive, fence, strawberry stand, blossoms and strawberries.  Adhere to card as shown, using pop dots.  With Dries Clear Adhesive add Sunshine Yellow Flower Soft to the centers of the blossoms on the beehive, add Tu Tu Pink Prills to the centers of the die cut blossoms, add Meadow Flower Soft to the grass beneath the fence, add Mellow Yellow Glitter to the bee hive and the signs on the strawberry stand, add Crystal Glitter to the blossoms and strawberry stand, as desired, and add Lichen Glitter to the leaves and greenery.  Add Yellow Stickles to the centers of the pink Copic colored blossoms on the fence.  Adhere Red and Turquoise Rhinestones as shown.  Finally, add Crystal Lacquer to all the strawberries.

Instructions: To create this 5" x 7" pocket card use the Insert D (21" x 7" when fully extended) from  HCFP1-434-3 Pocket and Flipfold Inserts B - Kraft.  Cover all piece of the step card with design paper from the Sugar Hollow Paper Collection and before adhering the paper distress the edges with coordinating chalk ink in either Wisteria, Lime Pastel or Pink Pastel.  On Cryogen White Paper with Tuxedo Black Ink stamp the owl family from the You're a Hoot Set, stamp the family tree from the Sugar Hollow Tree Set, stamp the branch and some leaves from the Leafy Branch Set and stamp the owl from the Sugar Hollow Bungalow Collection Set.  Color all with Copics and die cut with coordinating dies.  Add glitter as desired and add Yellow Stickles to all the owls eyes.  Also add Morroco Elements to the nest in the tree with Dries Clear Adhesive. With Berrylicious Chalk Ink stamp the flowers from the Leafy Branch Set on pink design paper and die cut with coordinating die.  Add Glitter and  Lilac Prills rills to the flower Centers.  Using the Border Essentials Die, create a fence using purple design paper.  On Cryogen White Paper that has been die cut with the Cut Mat Create 1B and 2B Die stamp "Hang in there" and "'Owl" always be there for you" sentiments in Watermark Ink and use Whirly Pop and Berrylicious Embossing Powder.  Assemble card as shown.  On back panel of card add Silver Swirl Rhinestones.

Instructions:  To create this 5 1/2" x 4 1/4" gift card holder use Pocket/FlipFold Insert A.  Fold as shown to create a pocket on the front and a pocket on the inside.  Cut design paper from the Sugar Hollow Paper Collection to fit the card front, the top and bottom of the inside of the card and both pockets.  Add Crystal Glitter, Baby's Breath Glitter and Wild Rose Glitter to the design paper as desired.  Add Scor-Tape to the sides of the flip folds and adhere to create the front and inside pockets. Add Want2Scrap Sleek Strips White Pearls to front pocket.  Create flowers and leaves by stamping flowers from Birds and Blooms Stamp Set with  Berrylicious Chalk Ink on pink design paper and by stamping leaves from Leafy Branch Cling Stamp Set with Olive Pastel Chalk Ink on green design paper and adding Lime Pastel Chalk Ink with a sponge dauber.  Die cut blooms and leaves with coordinating Leafy Branch Die.  Shape with Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit and add to card front as shown.  Add Baby's Breath Glitter to blooms and Lichen Glitter to leaves with Dries Clear Adhesive. Using pink design paper die cut the heart from the Timeless Amour Die.  Sponge inner heart with Pink Pastel chalk ink and adhere to card front with Dries Clear Adhesive.  Cut pop dots and add to outer heart and adhere to card front.  Add Antique White Glitter to outer heart.  On Cryogen White Paper with Tuxedo Black Ink stamp owls from Sugar Hollow Set and color with Copics.  Die cut with coordinating die from Sugar Hollow Bungalow Die.  Add Fog Glitter to boy owl, Wild Rose Glitter to girl owl and Lichen Glitter to leaves.  Adhere to heart with pop dots.  Using Luggage and Tags Die, die cut two tags from the design paper, add glitter and ribbon and insert in front pocket.  Using Spellbinders Classic Circles Die, die cut owl image from design paper and matte on purple design paper die cut with Spellbinders Lacey Circles Die.  Add glitter to owls and hearts.  Adhere to inside top panel of card with pop dots.  Cut "Sending Love Your Way" sentiment from design paper and adhere to inside pocket on inside of card.  Gift card can be inserted in inside pocket.

Wedding Invitation with Heartfelt Creations Black Friday Release

Today I am sharing how to create a Wedding Invitation with Heartfelt Creations Black Friday Release. Today Heartfelt Creations is introducing its new 3D Flip Fold Albums and Inserts, along with several new Corner, Border and Pocket Dies.

To create this Wedding Invitation I used two of the Flipfold Inserts from  HCFP1-453-3 - Pocket and Flipfold Inserts C in Kraft.

I used the design paper from the All Glammed Up Paper Collection, Blazing Poppy Paper Collection and the Arianna Blooms Paper Collection.  I created the flowers and leaves using HCPC 3651 Botanical Rose Cling Stamp Set and HCD1-758 Botanical Wings Die, HCPC 3494 Delicate Asters Cling Stamp Set and HCD1-726 Delicate Asters Die and the leaves from HCD2-750 Cut Mat Create 1B Die. The sentiment is from the HCPC 3707 - All Glammed Up Sentiments Cling Stamp Set.

I created the folder style invitation using these two Flipfold Inserts from the C package.  I added the pocket to the back and used HCD1-780 Ornate Borders and Pocket Dies for the inserts.

The inserts were creating using design paper from the All Glammed Up Paper Collection and the new HCD1-779 Regal Borders and Pocket Dies.

In the back pocket I created two inserts and used the new HCD1-780 Ornate Borders and Pocket Dies, lining them up so that they coordinate when both inserts are in the pocket.

Instructions:  Take the 6" x 6" flip fold from HC Pocket and Flipfold Inserts C package and add a pocket  also from the C package to create this wedding invitation. Adhere the pocket to the back of the 6" x 6" folder with Scor-Tape and then decorate with paper from the All Glammed Up Paper Collection.  Also secure the ribbon with Scor-Tape to the folder before decorating the outsides of the invitation. Use the Ornate Borders and Pocket Dies, Regal Borders and Pocket Dies and Border Essentials Dies to create the inserts.  Decorate the front with flowers and leaves created from paper from the All Glammed Up, Blazing Poppy and Arianna Blooms Paper Collections. Create the roses and leaves using the Botanical Rose stamp and coordinating Botanical Wings set and create the asters and leaves using the Delicate Asters stamps and coordinating Delicate Asters dies. Create additional leaves using the Cut Mat Create 1B Die.  Add Silver Rhinestones, White Pearl Strips and glitter as shown.  On the front stamp the "You're Invited" sentiment in Tuxedo Black Ink from the All Glammed Up Sentiments Sets.  In this folder style invitation you could include in the pockets the RSVP, maps to the event, hotel information, etc.
