Today I am sharing with you my Remember the Time Mini Album with Crate.  This project features products from Heartfelt Creations Everyday Heroes Collection which is being retired and is only available to purchase until December 2nd or while supplies last.

I decorated the 7gypsies Mini Vintage ATC Crate in White with design paper form the Everyday Heroes Paper Collection.

Instructions: Decorate the sides and bottom of the mini crate using design paper from the Everyday Heroes Paper Collection, adhering it to the crate using Mod-Podge.  To decorate the ends of the crate, die cut the brown design paper twice with the round window die from the Everyday Hero Die Set and adhere to ends of crate with Mod-Podge.  Adhere LeCreme Pearls to die cut as shown. With Walnut Stain Distress Ink on cream design paper stamp the "We Will Remember" sentiment from the You Inspire Me Stamp Set and die cut with the buckle die from the Everyday Hero Die Set and on blue design paper stamp the "You Inspire Me" sentiment and the arrow from the Everyday Hero Newsprint Stamp Set and die cut with the coordinating die from the Everyday Hero Die Set. Adhere to end of crate, as shown.To create mini album use the design paper along with the Scor-Pal and corner rounder to create the album cover.  Create the pages using Bazzill cardstock along with the Scor-Pal and secure the pages in the album using Scor-Tape. Decorate the pages with photos, dew drops and bling, as desired. Using the tag die from the Luggage and Tags Die Set die cut the hole reinforcements, large tags and the small "courage" tag.  On one of the tags stamp the "In the face of adversity . . ." statement from the You Inspire Me Stamp Set.  Decorate the other tags with images cut from the design paper.  Adhere the hole reinforcements to the tags and then add seam binding to each tag.  Create a pocket for the tags on the back page of the mini album. To create the flowers to decorate the end of the crate and the cover of the mini album, with Walnut Stain Distress Ink stamp the flowers on beige design paper and stamp the leaves on green design paper using the Botanical Rose Stamp Set.  With Salty Ocean Distress Ink stamp the daisies using the Delightful Daisies Stamp Set and die cut all with coordinating dies.  Shape the petals and leaves using the Deluxe Flower Shaping Tools and add prills from the Spring Bling Prills set to each flower's center with Dries Clear Adhesive. With Dries Clear Adhesive adhere flowers to the one side of crate and to the cover of the mini album, as shown.  With Dries Clear Adhesive add a touch of Crystal Glitter to the flowers, leaves and design paper throughout the mini album, as desired. 

Winter Scene Card with The Robin's Nest

Today I am sharing a  6" x 6" card that I created with The Robin's Nest beautiful products.  I adhered a 6" square piece of the red side of the Black and White Holly Glitter Cardstock to the card base and on top of that I adhered a 5 1/2" square piece of Snow Covered Trees Cardstock.  At each corner of the card front I added a green Tear Drop from the River Bed Tear Drops and a gold Dew Drop from the Metallic Gold Dew Drops.

Next I cut a 4 1/4" piece of White Glitter Cardstock and added the Christmas Rub-Ons.  I then adhered the small red Dew Drops from the Regency Mini Drops on the holly berries.

Vintage Fuchsia Tag & Bold Fuchsia Card

Hi everyone!  Today I have two projects to share with you using Heartfelt Creations Cascading Fuchsia Collection.  For my first project I created a Vintage Tag using the beautiful papers in the Cascading Fuschia Collection and the vintage photo is from  Pion Design From Grandma' Attic - Tinted Bouquet design paper.

I created the beautiful roses using the Cascading Fuchsia Cling Stamp Set and coordinating Cascading Fuchsia Die.

My next project is a 6" x 6" card featuring the Fuchsia Bouquet Cling Stamp Set colored with Copics.

Instructions:  Begin by taking the #8 Manila Tag and laying it on the Cascading Fuchsia Paper.  Trace around the tag and cut the design paper to fit.  Adhere design paper to Manila Tag and then punch a hole in the design paper at the same place where the hole is in the Manila Tag.  Then distress the edges of the Tag with Victorian Velvet Distress Ink. Next die cut a piece of brown Bazzill cardstock with the flourish die from the Cut Mat Create 2A die set and adhere it to the bottom of the tag with Dries Clear Adhesive with the Metal Glue Tip.  Then die cut a piece of brown Everyday Heroes Paper and a brown piece of Bazzill cardstock with the Decorative Oval Die.  Adhere the Everyday Heroes Decorative Oval to the Brown Decorative Oval with Dries Clear Adhesive and then adhere to the Tag.  Add LeCreme Pearls around the center of the Decorative Oval.  Next cut out the vintage picture from the Pion design paper with the Spellbinders Petite Ovals SM and matte it on brown Bazzill cardstock that has been die cut with the Spellbinders Scalloped Ovals SM die.  Add to tag with Double Dots.  Then with Cottage Ivy Memento Ink stamp the leaves using the Classic Leaf Stamp Set and the Open Leaf Set.  Die cut the leaves using the coordinating Classic Leaf Die.  Shape leaves with the Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit and then add Crystal Glitter with the Dries Clear Adhesive.  Next on the mauve Cascading Fuchsia Paper with Espresso Truffle Ink stamp the Cascading Fuchsia Stamp Set and on the dark rose Cascading Fuchsia Paper with Rich Cocoa Ink stamp the Cascading Fuchsia Stamp Set.  Die cut the Fuchsias with the coordinating Cascading Fuchsia Dies.  With the Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit shape and assemble the Fuchsias to look like roses.  With Dries Clear Adhesive add Prills to the center of the dark rose colored rose.  Add roses and leaves as shown to the Tag.  Add seam binding and a bow to the hole at the top on the tag.

Instructions:  Begin by creating a 6" x 6" card base out of pink Bazzill cardstock.  Next take a 6" x 6" card front and also cut a 1 3/4" x 6" strip from the striped paper from the Cascading Fuchsia Paper Collection and distress all four of the 6" square edges and the 1 3/4" sides of the striped paper with a paper distressor. Then add Dries Clear Adhesive to the distressed edges and then dip them into Ensalada Glitter.  After glitter is dry, adhere 6" square card front to card base and then the striped paper to the center of the card front.  Next die cut a piece of the dark rose Cascading Fuchsia Paper using the Grand Decorative Labels One Die and adhere it to the card front.  Then with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink stamp the Fuchsia Bouquet image on Cryogen White Paper that has been die cut with the Spellbinders Grand Labels One.  Color the image with Copics.  Also on Cryogen White Paper stamp the single fuchsia image from the stamp set, color with Copics and then detail cut out.  Add the single fuchsia to colored image with a pop dot to create a 3-D effect.  With the Metal Glue Tip and Dries Clear Adhesive add Eggplant Glitter to the purple colored parts of the fuchsia.  Add the colored image to the card front with pop dots.  Finally, add pink and purple rhinestones to the bottom left corner of the Labels One colored image.

Vintage Photo Frame with Heartfelt Creations

Today I am sharing with you a Vintage Photo Frame I created out of Heartfelt Creations HCDP1-253 Everyday Hero Paper Collection, Heartfelt Creations HCD1- 761   Everyday Heroes Die and coordinating sentiment stamps HCPC 3665 Everyday Hero Newsprint Cling Stamp Set and HCPC 3667 You Inspire Me Cling Stamp Set and Spellbinder dies.  The flowers were created out of Heartfelt Creations HCPC 3500 Open Vintage Floret Cling Stamp Set and HCPC 3502 Mini Vintage Floret Cling Stamp Set with coordinating HCD1-727 Vintage Floret Die and the leaves were created with the HCPC 3651 - Botanical Rose Cling Stamp Set and coordinating HCD1-751 Botanical Wings Die.  I used Want2Scrap Sleek Strips 6" Pearls - LeCreme and 72 Count - LeCreme Pearls - Self Adhesive bling.

I found this photo on a wonderful Free Vintage Digital Stamps Blog that offered free vintage photos. I thought it was really interesting with one soldier and two brides.  I so wonder what the story is behind this pictures?!?

Instructions:  To create this 6 3/4" x 6 3/4" Vintage Photo Frame begin by die cutting a piece of brown Bazzill cardstock with the Grand Decorative Labels One Die.  Next matte a 6" x 6" card front from the Everyday Hero Paper Collection and add a decorative strip cut from the paper collection to the center of the card front.  Next add Sleek Strip LeCreme Pearls all the way around the design paper on the card front.  Then cut an A2 card front from the paper collection and add more of the decorative strip cut from the paper collection to the center of the A2 card front.  Use the Angle Corner Chomper on your vintage photo and adhere it the A2 card front and add LeCreme Pearls to each of the corners of the photo.  Add the A2 card front to the 6" x 6" card front as shown with pop dots.  Next using Cottage Ivy Memento Ink stamp the leaves from the Botanical Rose Cling Stamp Set 4 times on green Celebrate the Journey Paper and die cut with the coordinating Botanical Wings Die.  Then with Teal Zeal Memento Ink stamp enough florets using the Open Vintage Floret Stamp Set and the Mini Vintage Floret Stamp Set on Everyday Hero Paper to create 3 roses.  Die cut the florets with the coordinating Vintage Floret Die.  Shape the leaves and florets with the Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit and assemble roses and leaves as shown.  Add roses to the frame as shown.  Add Crystal Ice Stickles to the roses.  On brown Everyday Hero Paper with VersaMark Watermark Ink stamp the "You Inspire Me" sentiment circle and add White Embossing Powder.  Tap off excess and heat set.  Die cut with coordinating Everyday Heroes Die.  Add Crystal Glitter to the center of the sentiment circle with Dries Clear Adhesive.  Then on blue Everyday Hero Paper with Espresso Truffle Ink stamp the arrow from the Everyday Hero Newsprint Stamp Set and die cut with coordinating die from the Everyday Heroes Die.  Then with Rich Cocoa Memento Ink stamp the "Celebrating You" sentiment from the You Inspire Me Stamp Set on the die cut arrow and then place the arrow through the die cut circle sentiment.  Add to card front with pop dots.

Summer Time Card with Want2Scrap and Graphic 45

Hello everyone!  I don't know about you, but I am so ready for Summer time and the fresh fruits and vegetables from the garden that come along with the warmer season here where I live in Indiana.  I created this card using Graphic 45 design paper with Sleek Strips Pearls in LeCreme and  LeCreme Pearls, Cranberry Pearls and Sage Green Pearls thinking about Summer time.

The Sleek Strips Pearls in LeCreme beautifully accent the design paper.

And the LeCreme Pearls, Cranberry Pearls and Sage Green Pearls coordinate perfectly with the Graphic 45 paper.

Canvas Corp Brands 2015 Creative Crew 4 x 4 Canvas

Today Canvas Corp Brands is making its official 2015 Creative Crew announcement and I am excited to be part of the Vintage Crafts Crew.  Each Crew Member was asked to design and submit a 4 x 4 canvas, that shows who they are as a designer.  This is my 4 x 4 Canvas, feminine, vintage, flowers, pearls and creative.  Which pretty much sums me up!

Vintage Sledding and Deer Card with The Robin's Nest

Today and I am excited to share with you two Winter cards that I created for The Robin's Nest featuring the Winter Collection. 

For my first card, I created a 6" x 6" card base and then adhered a 6" square piece of the beautiful Brown on Brown Glitter Cardstock and then a 5 1/2" square piece of Winter Retreat Glitter Swirl Cardstock.  I then added the sledding image, a snowflake and the word "snow" from the Snow Rub-Ons to the Winter Retreat Glitter Swirl Cardstock.  I also added a couple snowflakes from the Winter Snowflakes Glitter Chipboard set and Black Forest Mini Dew Drops and Early Dawn Dew Drops.  I just love the vintage look of this card!

My second card features the beautiful Winter Deer Glitter Cardstock. First I created a 5" x 7" card base.   I then cut a 5" x 7" piece of Silver Glitter Cardstock  and then I cut a 4 3/4" x 6 3/4" piece of the Winter Deer Glitter Cardstock in half and adhered the deer side to the top of the Silver Glitter Cardstock and the striped side to the bottom of the Silver Glitter Cardstock.

I then wrapped a piece of 1 1/2" white ribbon around the center of the panel and then adhered the entire piece to the card front.  I then created a bow and adhered it to the card.  I also stamped a sentiment on a tag and added it to the bow with a silver metallic string.  Then to the striped portion of the cardstock I added Early Dawn Dew Drops and  Winter Snowflakes Glitter Chipboard using pop dots.

First, I created a Vintage Best Wishes Tag featuring the beautiful Romantique Garden Paper Collection.

This tag uses the Romantique Wings PreCut Set and also the bleeding hearts stamp from the Heartthrob PreCut Set and the coordinating Romantique Garden Die.

For my next project, I created a card features the Home is Where the Heart is PreCut Set colored with Copics.

Instructions:  To create this 3 1/2" x 7 1/2" tag begin with a #8 Manila tag and adhere the striped Romantique Garden Paper cutting to fit the tag.  Then use a hole punch to create a hole in the design paper and add the vintage seam binding.  Next cut a piece of Romantique Garden Paper with the Raindrops on roses die and add to the bottom of the tag with Dries Clear Adhesive and also add LeCreme Pearls to the die cut.  At the top of the tag adhere the LeCreme Pearls Swirls Finesse and add a large LeCreme Pearl.  Die cut a piece of Cryogen White Paper with the Spellbinders Classic Ovals Die and then stamp the "Best Wishes" image from Romantique Wings PreCut Set with Watermark Ink and use Olive Embossing Powder.  Heat set.  Distress image with Antique Linen Distress Ink and spray with Pink Iridescent Spray & Sparkle Spray.  Matte image with pop dots on green Romantique Garden paper that has been die cut with Gold Ovals One and then adhere that on pink Bazzill cardstock that has been die cut with Classic Ovals Die.  Add LeCreme Pearls.  Next on Cryogen White Paper with Memento Ink stamp Bleeding Hearts from Heartthrob PreCut Set and color with Copics.  Die cut with Romantique Garden Die and adhere 2 small and one large directly to Best Wishes image with Dries Clear Adhesive.  On the large Bleeding Heart, add another one on top with a pop dot.  Add Flax Glitter with Dries Clear Adhesive to the center of large Bleeding Heart.

Instructions:  Begin by making a 5" x 7" card base.  Next adhere the card panel from the Romantique Garden Paper Collection.  Next wrap the ribbon around the the center of the card front, securing in the middle of the front.  On Cryogen White Paper with Memento Ink stamp the image from the Home Is Where the Heart is Set and color with Copics.  Also on Cryogen White Paper stamp some Bleeding Hearts from the Heartthrob Set, color with Copics and die cut with the Romantique Garden Die.  Add Bleeding Hearts to colored image with pop dots.  Add Flax Glitter to the bleeding hearts, Shell White Glitter to the bird and cancelled stamp marks and add Bark Elements to the bird nest all with Dries Clear Adhesive.  At three of the corners add a Black Rhinestone and at the other corner add the Swirls Finesse - Black Rhinestones.  With pop dots add the tag that was die cut with the Luggage and Tags Die from the Romantique Garden Paper.

STEAMPUNK TOP HAT - HEARTFELT CREATIONS SEMI-FINALTIST PROJECT

Hi everyone!  Today I am excited to share my Steampunk Top Hat that I created as one of my Semi-Finalist projects for the Heartfelt Creations Design Team Call.   I was sent the All Geared Up Die and Paper Collection to create a couple projects with.  After giving it some thought, I knew I wanted to create a top hat with this collection.  To add to the Steampunk feel I also made a pocket watch using Heartfelt Creations Once Upon a Die and Numeral Clocks Set and added it to my top hat.

I used Spellbinders Grand Circles, Grand Decorative Circles One and Grand Stately Circles dies to create the Top Hat (complete step-by-step instructions are at the bottom of this post).  I used the All Geared Up Die to create the flowers and leaves.  I also used the leaves die from the Sweet Juliet Die.  I added some bling and chipboard hinges from Want2Scrap.  I created the chain links from the All Geared Up Die and used Art Glitter Dries Clear Adhesive to adhere it to the May Arts Ribbon.

I had fun creating this project! Heartfelt Creations will make an announcement on their blog on October 29th as to who was chosen to join their Design Team and hopefully you will see my name!

Instructions:

5 1/4" Tall x 8" Wide at Brim

Begin by adhering two pieces of the same All Geared Up Paper together at one end with Scor-Tape to create a piece 6" wide x 17 1/4" long.  Next on each 17 1/4" long side score 1/2" from the edge and then make slits approximately every 1/4" - 1/2"  along each side up to the scored mark. For the top of the hat fold the scored and slit edges in towards the center on one side and then for the bottom of the hat fold the scored and slit edges out.  To create the brim of the hat using the same paper die cut the largest circle from Spellbinders Grand Circles.  Next with contrasting paper die cut the largest circle from the Grand Decorative Circles One.  Lay the two circles together securing the edges with a little bit of washi tape and then take a smaller size circle from the Grand Circle and die cut out the center to make a hole (save this smaller circles for the top of the hat).   Form the paper that has been slit and scored into a tube and insert into the hole of the brim and sandwich the slit edges between the Grand Decorative Circles One and the Grand Circles adhering as you go around the circle and adjust the slits as needed.  Secure side seam of hat with score tape adjusting as necessary.  Next with contrasting paper cut a Grand Stately Circle to fit the top of the hat.  Again sandwich the slit edges of the paper of the top of the hat between the leftover circle from the Grand Circles Die and the Grand Stately Circle adhering and adjusting the slits as necessary to make a nice circle.  Then adhere the circle that was cut out from the center of the brim of the hat to the top of the hat.  Paint Chipboard Hinges with Lime 3D Stamp Paint and then adhere to top of hat with Dries Clear Adhesive.  Add Iridescent Rhinestones to holes on Chipboard Hinges.  Add Silver Swirls Rhinestones to top of hat. Next using All Geared Up Paper die cut chain links from All Geared Up Die.  Slit each link to be able to connect them and then using Dries Clear Adhesive glue them onto the 1 1/2" ribbon.  Adhere ribbon around top hat using Helmar 450 Quick Dry Adhesive.  Make a bow and add a Big Time Brad to the center of the bow and then adhere to back of top hat using Helmar 450 Quick Dry Adhesive.  Next to decorate the front of the top hat using All Geared Up Paper die cut leaves and gears using the All Geared Up Dies.  Using the Paper Blossoms Tool Kit and Molding Mat shape gears to create flowers.  Add Art Glitter with Dries Clear Adhesive to the flowers and  Rhinestones to the center of each flower.  In addition die cut a few more leaves using the leaf die from the Sweet Juliet Die.  Die cut a cog using the All Geared Up Die with the All Geared Up Paper and then paint it with Walnut Brown 3D Stamp Paint.  Also stamp the pocket watch and face with Memento Ink on Cryogen White Paper using the Numerical Clocks Set and color it with Copics.  Die cut the pocket watch and face image with the Once Upon a Time Die.  Spray the pocket watch with Crafters Companion Silver Glitter Spray & Sparkle.   Apply Glossy Accents to the watch face.  Once dry add a Tim Holtz Game Spinner to the center with a brad and adhere to pocket watch with a pop dot.  Add some of the die cut chain links to the pocket watch and finish by adding a Charm Pin Up Brad to the end of the chain.  Add all flowers, leaves, cog, pocket watch and chain, and Tim Holtz Gear & Sprocket to the front of the top hat as shown using Dries Clear Adhesive.
