Inspire Airplane Ornament

Today Heartfelt Creations is debuting its Art Foam Paper and Flower Stamens.  With these new products I created my Inspire airplane Ornament.

My ornament features Heartfelt Creations Inspire Charm.

The flowers were created using the new Art Foam Paper  and  HCS1-459-1 Assorted Pearl-Small Stamens, HCS1-460 Bridal Bouquet-Small Stamens and HCS1-459-4 Rock Candy-Small Stamens.

Instructions:  To create this 7" long ornament begin by die cutting the plane image from the design paper from the Young at Heart Paper Collection and also die cut a piece of blue design paper for the back of the airplane.  Sponge the blue back with Teal Zeal Ink to make it a solid color.  Using needle nose pliers pry apart top clasp of inspire charm and insert white floral wire between top chain and top clasp.  Using Dries Clear Adhesive adhere front and back of airplane making sure floral wire is straight.  Adhere black bow above airplane as shown and with Dries Clear Adhesive add Banana Glitter to airplane.  Add Crystal Lacquer to airplane and allow to dry completely.  On Art Foam Paper with Garden Patina Archival Ink stamp the two small poinsettia from the Ornate Sleigh Stamp Set and stamp two large poinsettias from the Celebrate the Season Stamp Set and die cut with coordinating dies.  On Art Foam Paper with Fern Green Archival Ink stamp the small several small leaves from the Ornate Sleigh Stamp Set and stamp several large leaves from the Celebrate the Season Stamp Set and die cut with coordinating dies.  Color poinsettias with Turquoise Pan Pastels and color leaves with Chrom. Oxide Green Pan Pastels.  Use Heat It Craft Tool to warm poinsettias and leaves and then shape with Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit.  Use the small yellow stamens from the Assorted Pearl Small Set along with white floral wire, cutting the poinsettias in half and then adhering petals around stamens with the hot glue gun.  Begin assembling on ornament as shown, adhering with hot glue gun.  Also using the Turquoise stamens from the Rock Candy - Small set and the white glitter stamens from the Bridal Bouquet - Small Set, using floral wire and hot glue as needed adding to ornament as shown for accents.  With Dries Clear Adhesive add Baby Baubs Glitter to poinsettia and leaves.  Using needle nose pliers add Tim Holtz Baubles to bottom of Inspire charm.

Fall Cards with Mon Ami Gabby

Today I am sharing two cards that I created with the September Mon Ami Gabby Kit Club.   I created a bow with the cream ribbon in the Kit for my Fall Harvest Girl Card.

This card also features a beautiful Fall Floral Embellishment that was included in the Kit and I adhered the small Fall Trim Flower from Mon Ami Gabby to the bottom right hand corner of my card as a final touch.

For my second card I created my Nature Card featuring the "Nature" Ephemera included in the September Kit, which I added some glitter to for some extra sparkle.  I just love this beautiful Fall Ribbon with the pretty leaves.  I added the Pearl Embellishment to the Burlap Flower and added Platinum Stickles to the edges of the burlap.  I added glitter to the Wheat Embellishments and finished by adding the Fall Trip Flower at the base of the Wheat Embellishment.

Mon Ami Gabby Design Team Announcement

I am excited to announce that I have been asked to join the Mon Ami Gabby Couture Accents Design Team.  Mon Ami Gabby sell beautiful lace, ribbon, trim, silk and paper flowers,  Italian crepe paper, brooches, embellishments and accents.

They also have a monthly Kit Club that is a month-to-month subscription that includes a mixture of vintage and couture embellishments.

Today I am sharing two cards that I created with the August Mon Ami Gabby Kit Club.  First my Paris Card features beautiful gray ribbon, Paris themed card ephemera, and a gold Eiffel Tower embellishment.  To create the flower I die cut Mon Ami Gabby Pink Italian Crepe Paper with Heartfelt Creations Classic Rose Die and secured the layers with a black sparkle button included in the August kit.  To add color to the clear plastic leaves I colored them with Copic alcohol markers.

For my second card features more beautiful trim from Mon Ami Gabby and continues with the Paris theme!

Easter Bonnet with Sunrise Lily Collection

Today Heartfelt Creations is proud to release its Sunrise Lily Collection.  This is what Heartfelt Creations has to say about its newest release:

I created this elegant hat using Spellbinders Dies and the beautiful HCDP1-263 Sunrise Lily Paper Collection.

The lilies were created with the HCPC 3720 Sunrise Lily Cling Stamp Set and coordinating HCD1-787 Sunrise Lily Die. The beautiful Pearl embellishments are from Want2Scrap.

Finally, I finished the hat with May Arts Ribbon, a brooch from MonAmiGabby and a couple of stick pins.

Instructions:  Using Sunrise Lily Design Paper create the base of the hat out of Spellbinders Grand Circles Dies, Spellbinders Grand Stately dies, and a strip of design paper cut to fit to create the straight sides of the hat.  Decorate the top of the hat with Pink Pearls, Couture Swirls by Nina Bracket in White Pearls and Maxi Girl Pearls - White, cutting to fit around the edge of the hat as needed.  Around the side of the hat add the border print from the design paper, add the Sleek Strips 12" Pearls in White and Soft Pink, as shown.  Create a green Bow for the back of the hat and add a MonAmiGabby Brooch to the center of the Bow and Stick Pins. For the flowers clusters on the sides, with Tuxedo Black Ink stamp the Sunrise Lilies and die cut with coordinating Sunrise Lilies Die.  Color some lilies with Dried Marigold, Mustard Seed and Spun Sugar Distress Ink and some lilies with Butter, Rouge and and Rose Coral Chalk Ink.  Color the leaves with Lime Pastel and Olive Pastel Chalk Ink.  Shape flowers and leaves with Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit.  Add Crystal Glitter to all flowers, Lichen Glitter to all leaves and Yellow Stickles to flower centers.

Owl Love Nest Cage and Sugar Hollow Card

Instructions:  To create this 6" x 4" Owl Love Nest Cage, I used a silver cage tealight holder I found at a thrift store.  Next add Spanish moss to the inside and outside of the tealight holder at the base of the cage and adhere Silver Diamond Mesh to cage, cutting to fit as needed.  On Cyrogen White Paper with Tuxedo Black Ink stamp the nest from the Sugar Hollow Stamp Set, stamp the fluffy owl from the Sugar Hollow Bungalow Set, stamp the tree twice and the owl from the Sugar Hollow Hangout Set, stamp the owl on the perch from the It's Owl Good Cling Stamp Set and stamp the leaves from the Leafy Branch Stamp Set.  Color all with Copics and die cut with the coordinating HC dies. Detail cut out by hand the owls in the nest. On Cyrogen White Paper with Berrylicious Chalk Ink stamp the blooms from the Birds and Blooms Set and die cut with the coordinating Leafy Branch Die.  Sponge Pink Pastel Chalk Ink on Blooms and shape with Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit and then add Spring Bling Prills to flower centers.  Add Morrocco Elements to nest and add glitter to flowers, leaves, grass and owls as desired.  Add Yellow Stickles to owl eyes as desired.  Adhere to cage as shown.  Finish by adding a bow with lavender seam binding at the top of cage.

Sparkling Poinsettia Decorated Lamp Post

Today I am sharing with you my Sparkling Poinsettia Decorated Lamp Post that I created using a lamp post I found at a thrift store. I painted it with DecoArt Metallic Glaze before decorating it with design paper, stamps and dies from the beautiful Heartfelt Creations Sparkling Poinsettia Collection.

The gold trim and brooch are from MonAmiGabby and the Cranberry Pearls are from Want2Scrap.  I purchased a Sage Green/Gold Damask LCD candle from Pier One to complete the lantern.

Instructions:   Paint wooden lamp post with Renaissance Brown DecoArt Dazzling Metallics Metallic Glaze.  With Dries Clear Adhesive add MonAmiGabby Diamond Mesh Collection in Gold to the lamp post.  To add height to where the base of the candle sits, I painted a round lid with the Renaissance Brown Paint and adhered it to the lantern part of the lamp post with hot glue.  Create a bow with satin ribbon and with hot glue add the MonAmiGabby Brooch to the center of the bow and then add bow to the lamp post with hot glue.  Then on cream and burgundy colored Poinsettia Paper with Galaxy Gold Ink stamp the large poinsettia from the Large Sparkling Poinsettia Stamp Set and the poinsettias from the Sparkling Poinsettias Stamp Set and on green Poinsettia paper stamp the leaves from the Large Sparkling Poinsettia Stamp Set and from the Holly Berry Cling Stamp Set and add Gold Ranger Embossing Powder to all. Tap off excess and heat set.  Die cut the poinsettias and leaves with the coordinating Sparkling Poinsettia Die, Large Sparkling Poinsettia Die and Ornamental Add On Die.  Spray the poinsettia centers with Tattered Angels Glitter Mist in Iridescent Gold and then with Dries Clear Adhesive add Crystal Glitter.  With the Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit, shape the leaves and poinsettias, layering poinsettias as shown and using the centers from the burgundy die cuts in the cream poinsettias and the centers from the cream die cuts in the burgundy poinsettias.   On the smallest burgundy poinsettia near the candle add Prills to the center with Dries Clear Adhesive.  Add Cranberry Pearls to the Holly Berry Leaves with Dries Clear Adhesive. With Dries Clear Adhesive add Crystal Glitter to the poinsettias.    Add Poinsettias and leaves as shown to the lamp post with a hot glue gun.  On the largest poinsettia at the base of the post add Lemoncello Mini Dew Drops with Dries Clear adhesive to the center of the poinsettia.  Sit Sage Green/Gold Damask LCD Votive Candle in center of lantern on lamp post.

Christmas Card with Heartfelt Creations

I have a couple more cards to share with you using Heartfelt Creations Sparkling Poinsettia Collection.  For the first 5" x 7" card I used traditional red and green colors.

I colored the stamped image with Tim Holtz Distress Ink and and a Tim Holtz Water Brush.

For my next card I created an Elegant Poinsettia card featuring the elegantly embossed HCPC 3683 - Joy to the World Cling Stamp Set.

The beautiful trim and pearl and gold accents are from MonAmiGabby.

Instructions:  Begin by creating a 5" x 7" card base.  Next wrap and secure a red ribbon around the center of a 5" x 7" card front cut from the Sparkling Poinsettia Paper Collection and then adhere the card front to the card base. Die cut a piece of  Neenah Solar White Paper with the Cut Mat Create 1A Die and then with Black Soot Distress Ink stamp the Sparkling Poinsettia Swirl stamp from the Sparkling Poinsettia Cling Stamp Set at the top left corner of the die cut paper, and then stamp the Holly Swirl stamp from the Joy to the World Cling Stamp Set in the top right corner of the paper and along the right side.  Color the image with a Tim Holtz Waterbrush and Tim Holtz Distress Inks in Barn Door, Mowed Lawn and Forest Moss.  Add Red Stickles to the holly berries.  With Watering Can Archival Ink stamp the sentiment from the Sparkling Poinsettia Swirl Cling Stamp Set on the Solar White Paper.  On Solar White Paper with Tuxedo Black Ink stamp the Sparkling Poinsettia stamp set and color poinsettias with Barn Door Distress Ink.  Die cut poinsettias with coordinating Sparkling Poinsettia Die, shape with Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit and then layer as shown.  Add Prills to the center of poinsettia with Dries Clear Adhesive.  Next on green Sparkling Poinsettia Paper stamp the leaves from the Holly Berry Cling Stamp Set with Galaxy Gold Ink and then add Gold Ranger Embossing Powder.  Tap off excess and then heat set.  Die cut leaves with coordinating Ornamental Add On die.  Add leaves and poinsettia to card front as shown.  Add Want2Scrap Swirls Finesse - White Pearls, as shown, cutting to fit as needed.  Create bow with Bow Easy and then adhere to right card front.

Instructions:  Begin by Creating a 5" x 7" card base and then adhere a 5" x 7" piece of Sparkling Poinsettia Paper to the card base.  With Dries Clear Adhesive and the Metal Glue Tip add Crystal Glitter to the swirls on the left side of the design paper.  On cream and burgundy colored Poinsettia Paper with Galaxy Gold Ink stamp the large poinsettia from the Large Sparkling Poinsettia Stamp Set and the poinsettias from the Sparkling Poinsettias Stamp Set and on green Poinsettia paper stamp the leaves from the Large Sparkling Poinsettia Stamp Set and from the Holly Berry Cling Stamp Set and add Gold Ranger Embossing Powder to all. Tap off excess and heat set.  Die cut  the poinsettias and leaves with the coordinating Sparkling Poinsettia Die, Large Sparkling Poinsettia Die and Ornamental Add On Die.  Spray the burgundy centers with Tattered Angels Glitter Mist in Iridescent Gold and then with Dries Clear Adhesive add Crystal Glitter.  With the Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit, shape the leaves and poinsettias, layering cream poinsettias as shown and using the centers from the burgundy die cuts.  With Dries Clear Adhesive add Crystal Glitter to the poinsettias.  On a piece of burgundy Bazzill cardstock stamp the Sparkling Poinsettia Notes Cling Stamp Set with Galaxy Gold Ink and add Gold Ranger Embossing Powder.  Tap off excess and heat set.  Take green Bazzill paper and die cut it with the largest Spellbinders Floral Assortment Die and cut it diagonally in half.  Then cut another piece of design paper to match the card front approximately 5" x 5" to support the upper part of the card, adhering it to the card base as shown. Adhere the Floral Assortment die cut at upper right and bottom left corners to card front, then add the embossed Sparkling Poinsettia Notes image and around that with Dries Clear Adhesive add two strips, cutting to fit, of MonAmiGabby Diamond Mesh.  Add Poinsettias and leaves as shown, finishing by adding Cranberry Pearls to the Holly Berry Leaves with Dries Clear Adhesive.  Tuck and adhere  MonAmiGabby - Pearl and Gold Accents behind the large poinsettia.  Die cut the "Believe" tag using the Luggage and Tags Die from the Poinsettia Paper Collection and then add it to the top right corner of the card and finish by adding a Cranberry Pearl to the hole on the tag.
