Special Christmas Memories with Want2Scrap

Today I am sharing my Special Christmas Memories layout featuring Christmas Bling by Nina Brackett - Let it Snow and Fancy Chipboard Words.  I used Paper House Production's beautiful Christmas Tree 12" Scrapbook Paper.  This pictures was taken several years ago, but it is still one of my favorites!

For the title I used Special - Fancy Chipboard Word, Christmas - Fancy Chipboard Word and Memories - Fancy Chipboard Word and painted them with Gold Viva Decor 3D Stamp Paint.  I then added the bling snowflakes from Christmas Bling by Nina Brackett - Let it Snow.

I matted our family picture on green cardstock die cut with Spellbinders Grand Scalloped Rectangles and finished by adding Swirls - Silver Rhinestones and Cranberry Pearls.

Want2Scrap Cats 12 x 12 Overlay

Today I am sharing a layout featuring Want2Scrap's Cats 12 x 12 Overlay and Bling featuring my kitty, Muffin.   I placed the pictures of Muffin in the photo openings and matted the whole overlay on blue cardstock.

To highlight this photo of Muffin sitting pretty on the shelf in my laundry room, I added Classy Corners - Elegance and Baby Blue Rhinestones.

Along side the photos of Muffin peaking at the camera, I added Swirls Finesse - Silver Rhinestones and Bling Brackets by Nina Brackett - Heartfelt along with Baby Blue Rhinestones.

Finally, underneath the silhouettes of the cats on the Cats 12 x 12 Overlay I used Fancy Pants Everyday Circus - GuyWires 12 x 12 Paper.  With a sponge paint brush I painted the Sweet - Fancy Chipboard Word with Light Blue Metallic Viva Decor 3D Stamp Paint and adhered it with Art Glitter Dries Clear Adhesive and then added Silver/Clear Rhinestones.

Want2Scrap with Paper House Grown with Love Layout

Today I am sharing my Grown with Love Layout that uses a family picture we had taken several years ago, but it is still one of my favorites.  This layout features Want2Scrap Maxxi Girl Swirls - Silver Rhinestones and Paper House Productions Home Grown 12" Scrapbook Paper.

I die cut the orange cardstock with Spellbinders Grand Decorative Circles One and added the title sticker from Paper House Productions Gardening Cardstock Stickers before adhering it to the  Paper House Productions Home Grown 12" Scrapbook Paper.  I matted our family picture on green cardstock and added it to the layout.  I then added Brown Rhinestones to the Grand Decorative Circles One.  In the upper left corner I added  Maxxi Girl Swirls - Silver Rhinestones, a Paper House Productions Garden Canvas Art Sticker, and Pink, Orange and Baby Blue Rhinestones.  In the upper right corner I added Nestabling Heart Circles - Pink Rhinestones around a design on the paper.

In the bottom corners of the layout I added Paper House Productions Gardening Cardstock Stickers with pop dots and Orange and Baby Blue Rhinestones.

FRIENDS AND WINE LAYOUT

Today I am sharing with you my Friends and Wine scrapbook layout I designed with Want2Scrap products and 12" x 12" paper and 3D stickers from our cross promotional partner, Paper House Production. Paper House and Want2Scrap products work so perfectly together, that it  made this layout of  a recent weekend trip with friends to Michigan come together quickly and beautifully. I started with a piece of Paper House Friends & Wine 12" Scrapbook Paper and simply matted my pictures on coordinating Bazzill cardstock.

Around the Paper House Wine 3D Stickers I added some Silver/Clear Rhinestones, Sage Green Pearls, and Purple Pearls.

With a sponge brush I added Violet Viva Decor 3D Stamp Paint to the Tasting - Fancy Chipboard Word and then adhered it with Art Glitter Dries Clear Adhesive.  I added more Paper House Wine 3D Stickers and Silver/Clear Rhinestones.  Then I added Maxxi Girl Swirls - Silver Rhinestone to the page.

Finally, I added the "Wine Tasting" and wine bottles from the Paper House Wine 3D Stickers and a few more Silver/Clear Rhinestones.

TEA PARTY LAYOUT

Today I am sharing a layout with you that features Marion Smith Designs Mad Tea Party design paper.  I absolutely love this beautiful collection.  The sweet picture is from Tim Holtz's pack of Found Relatives.

I heavily distressed the edges of the floral side of Marion Smith's Mad Tea Party - Spot of Tea with Tim Holtz Distress Tool and  Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Antique Linen before adhering it to another sheet of the Spot of Tea design paper using the reverse side.  I added the teapot and cup brads from BoBunny Little Miss Brads so that they peaked out between the tears on the distressed paper.  The "Yesterday" fancy chipboard embellishment is from Want2Scrap and I painted it with DecoArt Metallic Lustre in Iced Espresso.

I used Spellbinders Grand Decorative Circles One die cut another piece of of the pink side of the Spot of Tea design paper to create the base for my photo and embellishments.  Underneath the left corner I tucked the Alice paper dolls from the Marion Smith Cut & Create design paper.  The ephemera is from KaiserCraft Sweet Nothing Collectibles Die Cut Shapes, which I added Art Glitter Ultrafine Transparent Glitter in Crystal for some extra sparkle, and the resin accent is from Webster Pages.  I added the little spoon from the Eyelet Outlet to the sweet little doily from Maya Road.  To create the leaves I stamped them with Tim Holtz Forest Moss Distress Ink using Heartfelt Creations HCPC 3547 - Bold Leaf PreCut Set stamp and die cut the leaves with Heartfelt Creations HCD 736 - Classic Leaf Die.  The flowers are from Prima.

To continue with my tea party theme I used the Want2Scrap® Chipboard Teacup and painted it with DecoArt Metallic Lustre in Gold and then sprayed it with Crafter's Companion Iridescent Spray & Sparkle Spray.  With Tuxedo Black Memento Ink I stamped the clock image from Marion Smith Designs Stamp Collection - Curious on the teacup.  To create the look of steam from the teacup I used Want2Scrap® Swirls Finesse LeCreme Pearls.

WANT2SCRAP® VINTAGE ATTIRE LAYOUT

I created a vintage layout featuring Want2Scrap's Vintage Attire Chipboard Embellishment and one of the dress forms from the Dress Form Set - Chipboard Embellishments.  The design paper is from Heartfelt Creations HCDP1 237 - Antiquity Paper Collection.

I painted the Vintage Attire Chipboard Embellishment with DecoArt® Metallic Lustre - Iced Espresso. The flowers and leaves were created with stamps and dies from Heartfelt Creations.  I used Sage Green Pearls , Silver/Clear Rhinestones, Steel Blue Pearls, and LeCreme Pearls for the flower centers.  I also added some Swirls Finesse - LeCreme Pearls bling.

I painted one of the vintage dress forms from the Dress Form Set - Chipboard Embellishment with DecoArt® Metallic Lustre - Gold Rush.  I adhered the cameo with Helmar Gemstone Glue into the Prima Vintage Trinkets oval frame and added ribbon before adhering it to the page.

I die cut and embossed a butterfly using Spellbinders Les Papillions.   I then painted the butterfly with DecoArt® Paper Effects - Peacock Gold and then added Art Glitter Ultra Transparent - Antique White Glitter  with Art Glitter Designer Dries Clear Adhesive.  I also added a small LeCreme Pearl to the center of the flower on the design paper.

SCRAPBOOK LAYOUT FEATURING WANT2SCRAP®

Today I am sharing a lovely layout that features Want2Scrap's chipboard embellishments, chipboard words and bling.  The design paper is from Heartfelt Creations Daphne Paper Collection.

I used Viva Decor 3D Stamp Paint in Rose and Moss Green on the Want2Scrap® Dress form by Laurel Lane - Chipboard Embellishment.  The heart was created with Heartfelt Creations Timeless Amour Die and then embellished with Baby - Pink Rhinestones - 100 Count - 2.5 mm.

Around the photograph I used Want2Scrap® Funky Swirls in Silver Rhinestones.  I used Moss Green Viva Decor 3D Stamp Paint on the DREAM - Fancy Chipboard Word and then sprayed it with Crafters Companion Iridescent Spray and Sparkle for some extra sparkle.  Peeking out from under the photograph is Bazzill cardstock that has been die cut using Heartfelt Creations Ornate Gate Die and then I added some Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Bundled Sage and Milled Lavender to the gate die cut.

The flowers and leaves were created  using Heartfelt Creations Sun Kissed Fleur PreCut Set, Sun Kissed Fleur Die, and Heartfelt Creations Gift Ensemble Die (leaves).  I used 72 Count - Mother of Pearl Rhinestones and 72 Count - Pink Rhinestones for the flower centers.  I decorated the Laurie - Style A - Chipboard Embellishment with Walnut Brown Viva Decor 3D Stamp Paint and Art Glitter Autumn Leaves UltraFine Transparent Glitter.

POCKET WATCH & SPROCKETS LAYOUT

Today I am sharing with you a vintage layout I created featuring  Want2Scrap® Shifting Gears Small Chipboard Embellishments and DecoArt® Metallic Lustre paint.  I started my  12 x 12 Layout using Heartfelt Creations Balmy Breeze Paper Collection. 

I painted the gears using a sponge brush with DecoArt® Metallic Lustre Champagne Ice, DecoArt® Metallic Lustre Iced Espresso, DecoArt® Metallic Lustre Copper Kettle, DecoArt® Metallic Lustre Gold Rush,  and DecoArt® Dazzling Metallics Peacock Pearl.  I then added to the sprockets Want2Scrap® Nestabling Sprightly Sprockets and some 72 Count Self Adhesive Rhinestones in Silver/Clear, Turquoise, and Black.

 

At the top of the page I used Want2Scrap® Swirls - Silver Rhinestones and added some 72 Count - Turquoise Rhinestones - Self Adhesive.  I painted the Memories - Fancy Chipboard Word with DecoArt® Dazzling Metallics Peacock Pearl and DecoArt® Glamour Dust® Aqua for some extra sparkle.

 

To create the distressed edge on the page I used Tim Holtz's Paper Distressor Tool and Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Peacock Feathers. I also sprayed it with Ranger Perfect Pearls Mists in Perfect Pearl before adhering it to a cream colored piece of the Heartfelt Creations Balmy Breeze Paper.   I then added the Want2Scrap® Swirls Finesse - Silver Rhinestones and added some 72 Count - Turquoise Rhinestones - Self Adhesive to the upper right corner.  I assembled the pocket watch using Tim Holtz Idea-ology pieces and added some Stampenndous Gilded Mica Framents before closing the timepiece.  With Art Glitter Adhesive - Dries Clear glue I added some Tim Holtz Mini Gears to the clock face and finished by adding some Baby Bling Rhinestones in Silver.  I adhered the pocket watch and chain to the page with Helmar Premium Craft Glue. Finally I added some more Want2Scrap® Rhinestones in Silver and Turquoise on the bottom of the page.

 

I matted my picture on metallic paper that had been die cut using Spellbinders Decorative Labels Eight.  Most vintage pictures I buy at my local antique mall, but today I used a special picture.  This man happens to be my great Uncle Cleo and I put this layout in a shadow box and gave it to my Mom for her Birthday!

"REMEMBER" VINTAGE LAYOUT

I created this vintage layout featuring Want2Scrap® LeCreme Pearls, which is a perfect accent to the Heartfelt Creations Burst of Splendor Paper Collection that I used for this 12" x 12" layout.  I found this picture of this beautiful little girl at the antique mall and it was the perfect photo for this vintage layout! 

 

I tore the edges and then distressed the edges with a distressing tool and Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Bundled Sage.  I then added  Copper Viva Decor 3D Stamp Paint to a Want2Scrap® Chipboard Teacup and then with Tim Holtz Seedless Preserves Distress Ink I stamped the design from Heartfelt Creations HCPC 3473 - Tattered Background Set on the teacup.   I then added the teacup with pop dots and the Want2Scrap® Spoon with Crown Charm with adhesive to page.  Next I added a Want2Scrap® Swirls Finesse - LeCreme Pearls to the corner.

Next using yellow Bazzill cardstock I die cut the Top Swirl from Heartfelt Creations HCD 737 Ornate Gateway Die and placed it at the top of my picture, adhering it with Art Institute Dries Clear Adhesive.  I then added three large pearls from Want2Scrap® LeCreme Pearls - 72 Count, and  some Craftwork Cards Candi in Choc-a-Moca to the page.

Then using Heartfelt Creations HCPC 3545 - Open Leaf PreCut Set, Heartfelt Creations HCPC 3546 - Classic Leaf PreCut Set, Heartfelt Creations HCD 736 - Classic Leaf Die, Heartfelt Creations HCPC 3534 - Striped Sun Kissed Fleur PreCut Set, Heartfelt Creations HCD 734 - Sun Kissed Fleur Die, Heartfelt Creations HCPC 3494 Delicate Asters PreCut Set, Heartfelt Creations HCD 726 - Delicate Asters Die I created flowers and leaves by stamping, die cutting, shaping, and layering as shown. Next with Art Institute Dries Clear Adhesive I added Art Glitter - Autumn Glitter to the flower petals.  Then I adhered the flowers and leaves to the page.   Finally I added Want2Scrap® Pearls and Art Glitter Elements in Tailings and Morocco to flower centers.

 

I then applied Moss Green Viva Decor 3D Stamp Paint to the Want2Scrap® Fancy Chipboard Word "Remember" and then sprayed it with Crafter's Companion Spray & Sparkle spray in Iridescent.  I adhered it to the page with Art Institute Dries Clear Adhesive. And finally with Art Glitter Dries Clear Adhesive and the UltraFine Metal Tip I added Art Institute - Crystal Glitter to the dahlias on bottom of design paper.

HC DISTRESSED VINTAGE LAYOUT - APRIL 3, 2013

Today I have another 12" x 12" vintage layout to share with you.  I just love this picture of this beautiful woman that I found at the antique mall! It goes perfect with  Heartfelt Creations Countryside Evening Paper Collection.  To make the page look even more vintage I heavily distressted the edges and inked them with Tim Holtz Old Paper Distress Ink, making sure to fold back the edges to reveal the mauve paper from Heartfelt Creations Frosty Blanket Paper Collection.  That is definately one thing I love about all the HC paper.  It all coordinates and compliments each other so well that you will find it so easy to mix and match collections.

Instructions:

12" x 12" Layout

Begin by heavily distressing edges of a piece of HC Countryside Evening Paper with the Tim Holtz Paper Distressor tool and then distressing with Old Paper Distress Ink. Adhere entire sheet to a piece of HC Frosty Blanket Paper making sure that the edges are visible. Next with Espresso Truffle Ink stamp Petite Florsl Swirls in upper corners and bottom right corner. Out of cream Bazzill cardstock die cut large Decorative Blossom Corner and spray with Gold Spray & Sparkle. Adhere to page with Dries Clear Glue and add Cameo Sparklet to center of blossom. Die cut photo using Oval Grand Nestabilities and matte on Countryside Evening Paper die cut with Grand Decorative Ovals One. Adhere to page. Out of brown cardstock die cut and emboss large bird from Bird Sanctuary and out of navy cardstock die cut and emboss large birdcage from Bird Sanctuary. Add Zva rhinestones to birdcage. Adhere bird and birdcage to page with pop dots. Above birdcage with Walnut Stain Distress Ink stamp "You are the song . . . " sentiment from Melodious Songbird Set. Add Finesse Swirls Pearls. Cut out "You inspire me" sentiment from Countryside Evening Paper and matte on Frosty Blanket Paper. Adhere to upper left corner of layout with pop dots.
