With this collection I created this beautiful Wine and Roses Card. 

I colored the image from HCPC 3697 Italiana Grape Clusters Stamp Set with Copics and added some layers with the wine glass and bottle stamps and die cut them with the coordinating HCD1-773 Italiana Grape Clusters Dies.  I also added 3-D Crystal Lacquer to the wine glass.

Instructions:  Create a 6" x 6" side folding card base and then adhere a 6" x 6" card front from the Italiana Riviera Paper Collection.  Next using the Labels 4 die, die cut a piece of Cryogen White Paper and using the largest size die, cut a piece of the design paper.  On the Cryogen White Paper with Tuxedo Black Ink stamp the wine bottle image from the Italiana Grape Clusters stamp set and color with Copics.  Adhere the colored image to the larger die cut Labels 4 and then add to the card front with pop dots as shown.  Then on Cryogen White Paper with Tuxedo Black Ink stamp the wine bottle and glass image from the Italiana Grape Clusters stamp set and the grape clusters from the Italiana Grapevines set and color with Copics.  Die cut with the coordinating Italiana Grape Clusters Die and the Italiana Grapevines Die.  Add wine bottle and glass to the colored image with pop dots and the grape cluster image to the upper left corner with a pop dot.  On light green and dark green design paper with Dark Brown Chalk Ink stamp the grapevine from the Italiana Grapevines and the Italiana Grape Clusters stamp sets.  Die cut with the coordinating dies.  Next on lavender design paper stamp the flower with the Botanical Rose Stamp Set and die cut with the coordinating Botanical Wings Die.  Shape with the Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit and layer as shown.  Add Lichen Glitter to all the light colored leaves, including the leaves in the colored images, Silk Ivy glitter to the dark colored leaves including the leaves in the colored images and Bonnie Blue glitter to all the grapes including the grapes in the colored images.  Add Lemon Chiffon Prills to the flower centers. Adhere grapevines and flowers to the card front as shown.  Add Light Green and Iridescent Rhinestones and the Button with twine as shown.  Add Crystal Lacquer to the wine glass.

Decorated Birdcage and Butterfly Card with Heartfelt Creations

Hi everyone!  Today I have two projects to share with you that hopefully will remind you that Spring is around the corner.  My first project is a Decorated Birdcage that I created from a mini birdcage I purchased at Michaels and a glass candle holder I found at a thrift store.  

I decorated it with mostly flower stamps and dies from the Heartfelt Creations Butterfly Medley Collection and the Birds and Blooms Collection.  I also used the Arianna Blooms Cling Stamp Set and Die and the Open Leaf Cling Stamp Set and  Classic Leaf Die.  I also placed a birds nest in the birdcage and stamped, colored a bird with Copics and die cut it with the coordinating die from the Birds and Blooms Collection and put the sweet little blue bird on the nest.

My second project is a Beautiful Butterfly Card featuring Heartfelt Creations HCPC 3655 - Dream in Beauty Cling Stamp Set.

I made the large butterfly 3D with the stamps and dies from the Butterfly Medley Collection and also added some flowers to complete the card.

Instructions:  To create this 9 1/2" x 4 1/2" Decorated Birdcage by creating leaves by using Mowed Grass Distress Ink with the Butterfly Medley Paper Collection and the following leaf stamps and coordinating dies:  Botanical Rose Stamp Set and Botanical Wings Die and  Open Leaf Stamp Set with Classic Leaf Die.  Next create flowers by using Ripe Persimmon Distress Ink, Dusty Concord Distress Ink and Teal Zeal Memento Ink with the Butterfly Medley Paper Collection and the following flower stamps and coordinating dies:  Botanical Rose Stamp Set and Botanical Wings Die, Birds and Blooms Stamp Set and Leafy Branch Die, Arianna Blooms Stamp Set and Arianna Blooms Die.  Shape and assemble flowers.  Add Crystal Glitter to the flowers using Dries Clear Adhesive and add Rock n' Roll Prills and Spring Bling Prills to flower centers with Dries Clear Adhesive.  Next matte a circle that has been die cut with Spellbinders Classic Circles LG out of Butterfly Medley Paper and matte it on green Bazzill cardstock that has been die cut with Petite  Scalloped Circles LG.  Then cut another smaller piece of green Bazzill cardstock using the Petite Scalloped Circles SM die and adhere it to the bottom of the birdcage.  Adhere shaped leaves to the bottom of the scalloped circle and then adhere the birdcage to the larger matted scalloped circle before adhering the entire birdcage to the glass candlestick with E6000 Adhesive.  Add assembled flowers to leaves.  Adhere bird nest to Butterfly Medley Paper that has been die cut with Petite Scalloped Circle and adhere inside birdcage.  On Cryogen White Paper with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink stamp bird image from Birds and Blooms Stamp set, color with Copics and die cut with Birds and Blooms Die.  Add Burnt Sienna Flower Soft to the bird's belly and Crystal Glitter to the bird's wing.  Adhere bird in bird nest.  Add flowers and leaves to top of birdcage as shown.  Wrap seam binding around glass candlestick and finish with a bow.

Instructions:  Begin by creating a 6" x 6" card base.  Next wrap a piece of ribbon around the center of the 6" x 6" Butterfly Medley Paper card front securing it on the back before adhering it to the card base.  Then on Cryogen White Paper that has been die cut with square die from Cut Mat Create 2A Die with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink stamp Dream in Beauty image and color with Copics.  Next on Cryogen White Paper with Tuxedo Black Ink stamp large butterfly from the Botanical Wings Stamp Set, color with Copics and die cut with Butterfly Medley Die.  Shape butterfly and then adhere to stamped image.  Add Crystal Glitter to postmark on colored image, Antique White Glitter to all of the butterflies and brown Prills from the Rock n' Roll Prills set to each butterfly's body using Dries Clear Adhesive.  Using Mowed Lawn Distress Ink stamp leaves using Open Leaf Stamp Set and die cut with Classic Leaf Die.  Create flowers by using Dusty Concord Distress Ink and Teal Zeal Memento Ink with the Butterfly Medley Paper Collection and the following flower stamps and coordinating dies:  Botanical Rose Stamp Set and Botanical Wings Die, Birds and Blooms Stamp Set and Leafy Branch Die.  Shape and assemble flowers.  Add Crystal Glitter to the flowers using Dries Clear Adhesive and add Spring Bling Prills to flower centers with Dries Clear Adhesive.  Adhere leaves and flowers as shown.  Adhere finished image to pink Bazzill cardstock that has been die cut with square from Cut Mat Create 2A Die and add to card front with pop dots.  Add Crystal Glitter to flowers on design paper.  Finish by adding Lavender and Pink Pearls to upper left corner of card front.

TEA PARTY LAYOUT

Today I am sharing a layout with you that features Marion Smith Designs Mad Tea Party design paper.  I absolutely love this beautiful collection.  The sweet picture is from Tim Holtz's pack of Found Relatives.

I heavily distressed the edges of the floral side of Marion Smith's Mad Tea Party - Spot of Tea with Tim Holtz Distress Tool and  Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Antique Linen before adhering it to another sheet of the Spot of Tea design paper using the reverse side.  I added the teapot and cup brads from BoBunny Little Miss Brads so that they peaked out between the tears on the distressed paper.  The "Yesterday" fancy chipboard embellishment is from Want2Scrap and I painted it with DecoArt Metallic Lustre in Iced Espresso.

I used Spellbinders Grand Decorative Circles One die cut another piece of of the pink side of the Spot of Tea design paper to create the base for my photo and embellishments.  Underneath the left corner I tucked the Alice paper dolls from the Marion Smith Cut & Create design paper.  The ephemera is from KaiserCraft Sweet Nothing Collectibles Die Cut Shapes, which I added Art Glitter Ultrafine Transparent Glitter in Crystal for some extra sparkle, and the resin accent is from Webster Pages.  I added the little spoon from the Eyelet Outlet to the sweet little doily from Maya Road.  To create the leaves I stamped them with Tim Holtz Forest Moss Distress Ink using Heartfelt Creations HCPC 3547 - Bold Leaf PreCut Set stamp and die cut the leaves with Heartfelt Creations HCD 736 - Classic Leaf Die.  The flowers are from Prima.

To continue with my tea party theme I used the Want2Scrap® Chipboard Teacup and painted it with DecoArt Metallic Lustre in Gold and then sprayed it with Crafter's Companion Iridescent Spray & Sparkle Spray.  With Tuxedo Black Memento Ink I stamped the clock image from Marion Smith Designs Stamp Collection - Curious on the teacup.  To create the look of steam from the teacup I used Want2Scrap® Swirls Finesse LeCreme Pearls.

WANT2SCRAP® VINTAGE ATTIRE LAYOUT

I created a vintage layout featuring Want2Scrap's Vintage Attire Chipboard Embellishment and one of the dress forms from the Dress Form Set - Chipboard Embellishments.  The design paper is from Heartfelt Creations HCDP1 237 - Antiquity Paper Collection.

I painted the Vintage Attire Chipboard Embellishment with DecoArt® Metallic Lustre - Iced Espresso. The flowers and leaves were created with stamps and dies from Heartfelt Creations.  I used Sage Green Pearls , Silver/Clear Rhinestones, Steel Blue Pearls, and LeCreme Pearls for the flower centers.  I also added some Swirls Finesse - LeCreme Pearls bling.

I painted one of the vintage dress forms from the Dress Form Set - Chipboard Embellishment with DecoArt® Metallic Lustre - Gold Rush.  I adhered the cameo with Helmar Gemstone Glue into the Prima Vintage Trinkets oval frame and added ribbon before adhering it to the page.

I die cut and embossed a butterfly using Spellbinders Les Papillions.   I then painted the butterfly with DecoArt® Paper Effects - Peacock Gold and then added Art Glitter Ultra Transparent - Antique White Glitter  with Art Glitter Designer Dries Clear Adhesive.  I also added a small LeCreme Pearl to the center of the flower on the design paper.

Instructions:
4 1/4" x 5 1/2"

Start with a 4 1/4" x 11" piece of cream cardstock and score at the 5 1/2" mark to create an A2 card base. Next out of brown cardstock cut out the large half circle from the Layered Scalloped Posy Die. Then cut a piece of the Prima paper to 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" and adhere Layered Scalloped Posy die cut to right side with Dries Clear Adhesive and add brown satin ribbon to edge with Scor-Tape. Adhere to card base. Next with Memento Ink stamp both images from the Flirty Fleurs set on Cryogen White Paper plus stamp 8 single posies and color with Copics. Detail cut both bouquets out and use the Posy Patch Die to cut out the 8 single posies. Adhere both bouquets to card base and add 8 single posies for dimension. With Dries Clear Adhesive add Brown Gala Glitz and Tailings Elements to flower centers. With Walnut Stain Distress Ink stamps "Hugs" sentiment from the Cross & Lilies set.

DECORATED CLOCK WITH WANT2SCRAP AND DECOART

I am excited to share with you an altered clock I created featuring Want2Scrap and DecoArt products.  I started by applying DecoArts® Acrylic Gesso to the entire Tim Holtz Assemblage Clock before I applied the DecoArts® Metallic Lustre with a sponge brush.

The bird and tree limb that I added inside the clock are from Want2Scrap® Designer Embellies - Mixed Media Elements.  I painted them with DecoArt® Dazzling Metallics Peacock Pearl, DecoArt® Dazzling Metallics Renaissance Brown, DecoArt® Metallic Lustre Copper Kettle, DecoArt® Gold Rush, and DecoArt® Glamour Dust® Gold Glitz.  I used the fine tip on the DecoArt® Paper Effects Black Pearl paint to make the eye on the bird.

I covered the back panel of the clock with Heartfelt Creations Sun Kissed Paper and added a Want2Scrap® Swirls - Silver Rhinestone.  I also created flowers and leaves using Heartfelt Creations stamps and dies and then finished the flowers by adding Want2Scrap® 72 Count - LeCreme Pearls - Self Adhesive and 72 Count - Coral Pearls - Self Adhesive to the flower centers. 

I placed a little Prima Flowers - Cradle Robin bird's nest in the bottom of the clock display and adhered it with Helmar's Premium Craft Glue.  For some extra sparkle I added some Stampendous Shaved Ice.

Next I painted the  Want2Scrap® Shifting Gears Small Chipboard Embellishment with DecoArts® Metallic Lustre paint and added  Want2Scrap® 72 Count - Turquoise Rhinestones - Self Adhesive, 72 Count - Orange Rhinestones - Self Adhesive,  and 72 Count - Silver/Clear Rhinestones - Self Adhesive to the clock front.  I also added Want2Scrap® Feathers by Angela Pruitt and painted them with DecoArt® Dazzling Metallics paint.   I then added some Art Glitter Transparent Glitter with Art Glitter Dries Clear Adhesive.

 



Finally, to finish the clock I used the banner piece from Designer Embellies - Mixed Media Elements and adhered the words "God Bless Our Home" from Heartfelt Creations All Seasons Sentiments PreCut Set stamp that had been sprayed with Crafter's Companion Iridescent Spray & Sparkle Spray.

 

I really liked working with the ArtDeco® products.  They coordinate beautifully with the Want2Scrap® products and are very easy to work with and use.  Have a great day!

REMEMBER LIFE IS GOOD

Good morning!  Today I woke up and reminded myself "Life is Good".  Sometimes we need to stop and remind ourselves of this.  These last few days I have been down in the dumps.  I have been sick with a cold, my computer died and a few other things have not went the way I had hoped.  So this weekend I was having a pity party for myself.  Well today when I woke up the sun was shining and the grass is greening up, which means hopefully here in Northern Indiana it will soon be warm enough for me to get out in my flower beds.  I always feel better when I can dig in the dirt.  I really do have a lot to be thankful for and "Life is Good". 

 

I have a card to share with you today as a reminder.  The sentiment is from Heartfelt Creations HCPC 3302  - Lilac/Posy Bouquet PreCut Set and the paper and embellishments are from Prima.

Instructions:

5" x 7" Card

Start with a 10" x 7" piece of beige cardstock and score at the 5" line to create a 5" x 7" card base. Next from the gold cardstock cut a 5" x 7" piece. Then take a 4 1/2" x 6 1/2" piece of teal cardstock and emboss it with the Couture Creations - Fretboard embossing folder and then adhere to gold cardstock piece. Wrap gold ribbon around pieces of cardstock and make a bow. Attach to card front. Add faux pearl and stick pin. On purple cardstock with Dusty Concord Distress Ink stamp cross/words from HCPC 3451 - Going to the Chapel set. On top of the stamped words with Champagne VersaMark Ink stamp the cross from the Going to the Chapel set. Cut out with Cross die cut from HCD 719. Attach to card front with pop dots. Using the Classic Circles LG Spellbinders die cut out a large circle and a smaller circle. On the smaller circle stamp the sentiment "With Heartfelt Sympathy" and on the large circle stamp the sentiment "Praying you will . . . " from the HCPC 3451 - Cross & Lilies set and then distress edges with Antique Linen Distress Ink. Out of the gold paper using the Spellbinders dies Fleur De Lis Doily Motifs cut out the large decorative circle and the smaller circle and matte the sentiments on the coordinating gold Doily Motifs. Attach the "With Heartfelt . . . " matted sentiment to the card front. Matte the "Praying you will . . " sentiment on coordinating purple and teal cardstock and attach to the inside of the card. To finish card attach Metalique Candi to card front.

Instructions:
4 1/4" x 5 1/2"

Start with a 4 1/4" x 11" piece of cream cardstock and score at the 5 1/2" mark to create an A2 card base. Next out of brown cardstock cut out the large half circle from the Layered Scalloped Posy Die. Then cut a piece of the Prima paper to 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" and adhere Layered Scalloped Posy die cut to right side with Dries Clear Adhesive and add brown satin ribbon to edge with Scor-Tape. Adhere to card base. Next with Memento Ink stamp both images from the Flirty Fleurs set on Cryogen White Paper plus stamp 8 single posies and color with Copics. Detail cut both bouquets out and use the Posy Patch Die to cut out the 8 single posies. Adhere both bouquets to card base and add 8 single posies for dimension. With Dries Clear Adhesive add Brown Gala Glitz and Tailings Elements to flower centers. With Walnut Stain Distress Ink stamps "Hugs" sentiment from the Cross & Lilies set.
