Special Christmas Memories with Want2Scrap

Today I am sharing my Special Christmas Memories layout featuring Christmas Bling by Nina Brackett - Let it Snow and Fancy Chipboard Words.  I used Paper House Production's beautiful Christmas Tree 12" Scrapbook Paper.  This pictures was taken several years ago, but it is still one of my favorites!

For the title I used Special - Fancy Chipboard WordChristmas - Fancy Chipboard Word and Memories - Fancy Chipboard Word and painted them with Gold Viva Decor 3D Stamp Paint.  I then added the bling snowflakes from Christmas Bling by Nina Brackett - Let it Snow.

I matted our family picture on green cardstock die cut with Spellbinders Grand Scalloped Rectangles and finished by adding Swirls - Silver Rhinestones and Cranberry Pearls.

Have a Merry Christmas!

CHRISTMAS CARD WITH WANT2SCRAP BLING

Today I am sharing a Christmas card featuring Want2Scrap's Sleek Strips 6" Red Rhinestones and Sleek Strips 6" LeCreme Pearls.  First I created a 5″ x 7″ card base out of green Bazzill cardstock. I then die cut a red piece of Heartfelt Creations Festive Paper with the 4 7/8″ x 6 7/8″ from the S6-001 5 X 7 Matting Basics A and matte it on the card base.  Next I die cut a green piece of HC Festive Paper with the 4 5/8″ x 6 5/8″ die from the S6-012 5 X 7 Mystical Embrace set. Then I die cut a red piece of the HC Festive paper with the 2 3/8″ x 4 3/8″ die from the S6-001 5 X 7 Matting Basics A and matte it on the green cardstock that has been die cut with the Mystical Embrace set.

Then I wove the 1 1/2″ ribbon over the sides of green cardstock cut with the Mystical Embrace large die and under the center of the green design paper, finishing by folding the ribbon edges over to the back of the 5″ x 7″  card front and securing with Scor-Tape.  With Dries Clear Adhesive I secured the green cardstock that has been cut with the Mystical Embrace die to the red matte.  I adhered the entire card front to card base.  I then added a "Merry Christmas" 3D Sticker to the center of card front, adding two small Red Rhinestones to the sticker.

Along the edge of the red die cut paper, I added Sleek Strips 6" Pearls - LeCreme - Self Adhesive, cutting to fit as needed, and then at each corner I added a medium LeCreme Pearl from the 72 Count - LeCreme Pearls - Self Adhesive set.Along the straight edge of the green paper die cut with the Mystical Embrace die I added Sleek Strips 6" Red Rhinestones - Self Adhesive, cutting to fit as needed, and then at each corner I added a medium Red Rhinestone from the 72 Count - Red Rhinestones - Self Adhesive set.  Finally, I add a large LeCreme Pearls to each corner.

I then stamped and die cut holly leaves using Heartfelt Creations stamps and dies and added large Red Pearls from the 72 Count - Red Pearls - Self Adhesive set for the holly berries.  Using the Spellbinders S5-055 Layered Poinsettia Die, I created a poinsettia and added Prills to the center.

Wedding Invitation with Heartfelt Creations Black Friday Release

Today I am sharing how to create a Wedding Invitation with Heartfelt Creations Black Friday Release. Today Heartfelt Creations is introducing its new 3D Flip Fold Albums and Inserts, along with several new Corner, Border and Pocket Dies.

To create this Wedding Invitation I used two of the Flipfold Inserts from  HCFP1-453-3 - Pocket and Flipfold Inserts C in Kraft.

Pockets and Flipfold Inserts C

I created the folder style invitation using these two Flipfold Inserts from the C package.  I added the pocket to the back and used HCD1-780 Ornate Borders and Pocket Dies for the inserts.
Invitation/Folder
Pocket

The inserts were creating using design paper from the All Glammed Up Paper Collection and the new HCD1-779 Regal Borders and Pocket Dies.

In the back pocket I created two inserts and used the new HCD1-780 Ornate Borders and Pocket Dies, lining them up so that they coordinate when both inserts are in the pocket.

Back Pocket Inserts
I also covered the back with design paper.

The new Heartfelt Creations Flipfolds not only work in the albums, but they are great for creating beautiful invitations and cards.  For some great Black Friday Specials and to see some other great inspiration from the Design Team, please visit the Heartfelt Creations Blog!

My Hero with Heartfelt Creations

For Veterans Day today, I wanted to share a card I created with Heartfelt Creations Everyday Hero Collection.  This 6" X 6" card features the HCPC-3664 My Hero Cling Stamp Set .  I colored the image with Copics and added the watch face using the HCPC 3593 Numeral Clocks Cling Stamp Set and die cut it with the HCD1-744 Once Upon a Time Die.  I added 3-D Crystal Lacquer to the watch face before adhering it to the stamped image with a pop dot.

I colored the boots with Copics, also.  I then cut the tags and hole reinforcement from the HCDP1-253 Everyday Heroes Paper Collection using the dies from the HCD1-745 Luggage and Tags Die set and then added a chain through the holes in the tags to create the "dog tags".

Thank you to all the men and women who have served and who are currently serving our country! Also, thank you to their families for all the sacrifices they have endured as their loved ones served our country, and we especially remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom and this country.
