Heartfelt Creations

I hope everyone is having a good week!  It is time for another Heartfelt Creations Wednesday.  During the month of December Heartfelt will not be releasing new products. Heartfelt will continue their normal schedule of the second Wednesday of the month in January. December is a good time to purchase stamps from their Limited Edition section. Those stamps will only be available until December 31st. So get them before they are gone.

The first card I am sharing today features the HCPC 2293 & HCPC 2294 Aztec Gold Sunflower stamps and HCPC 2252 Stem & Leaves set which are some of the stamps that will only be available until December 31st.

Instructions:
Card Size 5" x 7"
Start with a 10" x 7" piece of beige cardstock and score and fold at the 5" mark to make your card base.  Then out of the striped paper cut a 4 3/4" x 5" piece and out of the floral paper cut a 4 3/4" x 3" piece.  Adhere floral paper to bottom front of card leaving 1/8" space at the bottom and adhere the striped piece of cardstock to the top of the card leaving 1/8" space at the top.  Next out of the same paper you used for your card base cut a 5 1/2" border using HCD 702 Decorative Butterfly-Border Die.  Adhere where the two papers meet on card front trimming edges of border as necessary.  Next with Distress Ink - Walnut Stain on Cryogen White paper stamp 1 large sunflower from HCPC 2294 Aztec Gold Sunflowers 1 set and stamp 2 large sunflowers from HCPC 2293 Aztec Gold Sunflowers 2 set.  Also stamp 1 stem and 3 leaves from HCPC 2252  Stem & Leaves set and the "Have a Special Day" from HCPC 3363 Inspire Me Sentiments set.  Color with Copics.  Cut the sunflowers out with Spellbinders Blossom 2 Nestabilities and detail cut the leaves and stem.  Also detail cut in between each petal of the sunflowers bending and shaping petals as desired.  On 1 small sunflower apply Dries Clear Glue and brown Gala Glitz to center and allow to dry.  Then with pop dots apply sunflower to decorated card front starting with largest sunflower and ending with the small sunflower with Gala Glitz in the center.  Next apply stem and leaves with pop dots.  Also apply Candi with pop dots along upper left hand corner.  For inside of card create a tag using the Creative Memories tag maker.  Cut out stamped sentiment and distress edges with Distress Ink - Tea Dye ink and adhere to tag.  Finally, add twine and adhere to inside of card.

For my second card this week I made a Christmas card using Heartfelt Creations Nativity scene stamp and I colored it with Copics.
