Italiana Riviera Wine and Roses Card

With this collection I created this beautiful Wine and Roses Card. 

I colored the image from HCPC 3697 Italiana Grape Clusters Stamp Set with Copics and added some layers with the wine glass and bottle stamps and die cut them with the coordinating HCD1-773 Italiana Grape Clusters Dies.  I also added 3-D Crystal Lacquer to the wine glass.

Instructions:  Create a 6" x 6" side folding card base and then adhere a 6" x 6" card front from the Italiana Riviera Paper Collection.  Next using the Labels 4 die, die cut a piece of Cryogen White Paper and using the largest size die, cut a piece of the design paper.  On the Cryogen White Paper with Tuxedo Black Ink stamp the wine bottle image from the Italiana Grape Clusters stamp set and color with Copics.  Adhere the colored image to the larger die cut Labels 4 and then add to the card front with pop dots as shown.  Then on Cryogen White Paper with Tuxedo Black Ink stamp the wine bottle and glass image from the Italiana Grape Clusters stamp set and the grape clusters from the Italiana Grapevines set and color with Copics.  Die cut with the coordinating Italiana Grape Clusters Die and the Italiana Grapevines Die.  Add wine bottle and glass to the colored image with pop dots and the grape cluster image to the upper left corner with a pop dot.  On light green and dark green design paper with Dark Brown Chalk Ink stamp the grapevine from the Italiana Grapevines and the Italiana Grape Clusters stamp sets.  Die cut with the coordinating dies.  Next on lavender design paper stamp the flower with the Botanical Rose Stamp Set and die cut with the coordinating Botanical Wings Die.  Shape with the Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit and layer as shown.  Add Lichen Glitter to all the light colored leaves, including the leaves in the colored images, Silk Ivy glitter to the dark colored leaves including the leaves in the colored images and Bonnie Blue glitter to all the grapes including the grapes in the colored images.  Add Lemon Chiffon Prills to the flower centers. Adhere grapevines and flowers to the card front as shown.  Add Light Green and Iridescent Rhinestones and the Button with twine as shown.  Add Crystal Lacquer to the wine glass.

Pop Up Sparkling Poinsettia Candle Card

     

Today I am sharing with you my Pop Up Sparkling Poinsettia Candle Card.  It features the stamps, dies and papers from the Heartfelt Creations Sparkling Poinsettia Collection and the Heartfelt Creations Decorative Oval Die.

What I like about this card design is that you can actually fold it flat to mail.  At the end of this post you will find complete instructions on how to create this Pop Up Christmas Card.

I actually created this card design back in October 2011 when I first applied for the Heartfelt Creations Design Team.  This is my original card that I created with the now discontinued Heartfelt Creations Holiday Poinsettia Candle PreCut Stamp Set and the discontinued Heartfelt Creations Decorative Window Scene Die.

Instructions:  To make this pop-up stand alone 5 1/2" x 7 3/4" card, first cut a 5 1/2” x 12” piece of cardstock.  Next score on 1”, 3” , 4”, 8” , 9” and 11” lines.    Next cut out 2 Decorative Ovals with die using the brown Sparkling Poinsettia Paper and glue together with Dries Clear Adhesive.  Add Gathered Twigs Distress Ink to the Oval die cut.  Adhere LeCreme Pearls to the oval die cut as shown.  Next attach base of oval die cut into your cardbase with Score-Tape and press to close oval piece between both flaps.  On Cryogen White paper with Tuxedo Black Ink stamp candle image.  Color with Copics and then carefully cut out image.  Add Frosted Lace Stickles to the wax area of the candle and Yellow Stickles to the flame.  Next on Cryogen White paper stamp the poinsettias and color with Copics.  Die cut with coordinating poinsettia die and then shape with Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit and add yellow Prills to flower centers.  Add poinsettias to candle image with Dries Clear Adhesive and pop dots.  Using paint brush add Desire Dimensional Paint to poinsettias and Leaf Dimensional Paint to leaves.  Adhere candle image to decorative oval.  Add LeCreme Swirls Finesse to top of card base in front of decorative oval and behind.  Add Dark Green Pearls Strip to front edge of card base and back edge of card base.  On design paper stamp arrow from the Everyday Hero Newsprint stamp set with Galaxy Gold Ink, add Gold Embossing Powder and tap off excess.  Heat Set.  Die cut with coordinating arrow die from the Everyday Hero die.  Stamp "Comfort & Joy" sentiment from the candle set on the arrow with Bamboo Memento Ink.  Also with Bamboo Ink stamp the Noel Buckle Sentiment and die cut with the coordinating Everyday Hero die.  Paint buckle with Leaf Dimensional Paint.  Insert sentiment arrow and add a Red Pearl to the arrow and to the right of the card base as shown.  Add sentiment buckle and arrow to card base with pop dots.  The card will fold flat for mailing.

Want2Scrap and Spellbinders Whimsical Woodland Blog Fest

I am excited to be on the Want2Scrap Blog today participating in the Spellbinders Whimsical Woodland Blog Fest. For the blog hop I created a Forest Fox Treat Box, which is a perfect way to hold all the sweet candies we enjoy in the Fall!

I was given S2-193 Spellbinders Shapeabilities D-Lite Forest Fox Die and S6-013 Spellbinders Card Creator 5 x 7 Modern Stationary Die to work with.  I also used S6-002 Spellbinders Card Creator 5 x 7 Matting Basics B for the base of the box.

Using Brown on Brown Glitter Cardstock, using the largest die from the 5 x 7 Matting Basics B, I die one piece for the base of the box and using the next to the smallest die from the 5 x 7 Modern Stationary Die, I die cut two pieces for the sides of the box.  Using the Honeycomb Daisy Glitter Cardstock with the smallest die from the 5 x 7 Modern Stationary Die, I die cut one piece and matted it onto the larger Brown Glitter Cardstock die cut with the Modern Stationary Die.  To create the base of the box, I die cut another piece of Brown Glitter Cardstock with the 5 x 7 Matting Basics B die and scored it 1 1/2" from the edge on each side of the 5" sides and scored 1 1/4" from the edge on each side of the 7" sides.  On the 7" sides, I cut on the score line up to the horizontal score lines and folded the sides up and adhered it to create the box base.  I then adhered the sides to the box.

Next using tan and burnt orange colored cardstock, I die cut and embossed the fox using the Forest Fox Die.  After assembling the fox I added small Brown Rhinestones for the eyes.  I then adhered the Forest Fox to the Treat Box with pop dots.

Finally, I added the Want2Scrap Swirls Finesse - Brown Rhinestones, cutting to fit, and an Orange Rhinestone to decorate the box, and filled the Treat Box with caramels.

Instructions:  Begin by creating a 6" x 6" card base.  Next take a 6" x 6" yellow card front from the Mum Paper Collection and distress the edges with Squeezed Lemonade Distress Ink before adhering it to the card base.  Then on Cryogen White Paper with Tuxedo Black Ink stamp the vine image and the banner image (twice) from the Enchanted Dragonflies Stamp Set and color with Copics.  Die cut each with the coordinating Enchanted Dragonflies dies. Also on Cryogen White with Tuxedo Black Ink stamp the mum/dragonflies from the Enchanted Mum Stamp Set  and color the dragonflies with Copics before die cutting with the coordinating Enchanted Mum Die.  On the vine add Ensalada Glitter to the green leaves and Gazelle Glitter to the dragonflies wings on the vine and to the other die cut dragonflies.  Adhere vine to left of card front with Dries Clear Adhesive, leaving leaves free to bend up slightly from the card.  Adhere die cut dragonflies on top of the dragonflies on the vine to create a 3D effect, bending up the wings slightly.  Add Baby's Breath Glitter to the flower on the banner image.  Cut the leaf from the second die cut banner image and add it behind the other leaf on the banner before adding it to the card front as shown.  Stamp the flower from the Enchanted Mum Bouquet Set twice on Cryogen White Paper and color on of the stems with Copics.  Die cut both images with the coordinating Enchanted Mum Bouquet Die.  Color the petals on both of the bouquet images and also two medium and one small mum petals from the Enchanted Mum Set with a sponge dauber and Spun Sugar, Picked Raspberries and Squeezed Lemonade Distress Inks.  Cut the stem off the one bouquet image and layer the petals only behind the fully colored bouquet image.  Adhere flower to card front with pop dots.  Then layer two medium mum petals and one small mum petal that has been shaped with the Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit.  With Dries Clear Adhesive add Baby's Breath Glitter to the petals and Prills to the flower center.  Finish by adding Light Blue and Pink Pearls to the bottom right corner.

Instructions:  Create a 6" x 6" card base out of green Bazzill cardstock.  Next using the Cut Mat Create 2A Die, die cut out the center of a 6" x 6" card front from the Enchanted Mum Paper.  With a paper distressing tool, distress the edges of the card front and then distress the edges with Bundled Sage Distress Ink.  Adhere card front to card base.  Die cut a pink Bazzil cardstock with the Raindrops on Roses Die and then cut the die cut it in thirds, adhering the top half  to the top of the card front, the bottom half to the bottom of the card front and cut the center portion in half, adhering each to the sides.  With Dries Clear Adhesive add Baby's Breath Glitter to the flower and dragonfly on the die cut card front.  Adhere the die cut card front to the card base with pop dots.  With Worn Lipstick Distress Ink stamp the Enchanted Mum Stamp Set on pink Enchanted Mum Paper and then die cut with the Enchanted Mum Die.  Add Spun Sugar and Squeezed Lemonade to the petals with a sponge dauber.  Shape the mums petals with the Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit and then cut the largest mum in half.  Layer the two halves of the larges mum, the medium mum and the smallest mum and add to the flower in the image.  With Dries Clear Adhesive add Baby's Breath Glitter to the petals and Spring Bling Prills to the center of the mum.  Cut the "You Are My Everything" sentiment from the design paper and round the corners with a corner rounder.  Distress the edges with a paper distressor and then dip the edges in Dries Clear Adhesive and then Mellow Yellow Glitter.  Once dry add to card front with pop dots.  Add Light Green Rhinestones to the Raindrops on Roses die cut as shown.

Instructions:  Begin by creating a 6" x 6" card base out of green Bazzill cardstock and then adhere the 6" x 6" card front from the Mum Paper Collection.  With Dries Clear Adhesive using the Metal Glue Tip add Crystal Glitter to the dragonflies and the cream mum on the design paper, add Baby's Breath Glitter to the pink mums and Bonnie Blue Glitter to the purple mums on the design paper. Die cut a piece of the Cryogen White Paper using the Cut Mat Create 1B die and then with Tuxedo Black Ink stamp the image from the Single Enchanted Mum Set.  Color image with Copics and then add Crystal Glitter to the leaves in the colored image.  Die cut a piece of purple design paper with the Cut Mate Create 1A Die and add both the purple paper and the colored image to the card front as shown with pop dots.  In the upper right corner of the purple die cut add an Iridescent Rhinestone.  In the upper right corner and the bottom left corners add Pink, Lavender and Purple Pearls as shown.

Instructions:  Create a 6" x 6" side folding card out of Bazzill Cardstock.  Next cut a 6" x 6" card front from the Farmers Market Paper Collection and using the Cut Mat Create 2A Die, die cut out the center image (discard) and adhere outer card front to the card base with pop dots.  Die cut a piece of Cryogen White Paper using the same Cut Mate Create 2A Die and then stamp the vintage jugs image from the Jars and Accents Stamp Set using Tuxedo Black Ink.  Also stamp the "Handmade with Love" image from the Jug of Herbs Cling Stamp Set at the top of the die cut.  Color images with Copics.  With Dries Clear Adhesive add Crystal Glitter and Flax Glitter to the garlic bulb, Green Brier Glitter to the olive leaves and Lilac Flower Soft to the flowers.  Adhere colored image onto card base with Dries Clear Adhesive, making sure it shows evenly in the die cut card front opening.  Next on Cryogen White Paper with Memento Ink stamp garlic bulb from Jug of Herbs Stamp Set and two olive branches from Jars and Accents Stamp Set and color with Copics.  Die cut the olive branches with the coordinating Farmers Market Die and hand detail cut the garlic bulb, add glitter and adhere to card front with pop dots as shown.  Die cut a piece of brown Farmers Market paper using the Ornate Gateway Die, add Gathered Twigs Distress Ink and add it above the colored image with Dries Clear Adhesive.  Finish by adding twine and button creating a bow to the left side of the card.

Just Picked Apple Card

Today I want to share with you my Just Picked Apple Card featuring Heartfelt Creations HCPC-3690 Apple Harvest Cling Stamp Set.

I colored the image with Copics.  I think the apples look good enough to eat!

Instructions:  Create a 5" x 7" card base.  Cut a 5" x 7" piece of design paper from the Farmers Market Paper Collection and wrap a green ribbon around the center before adhering it to the card base.  Next cut out the "Just Picked" image from the design paper and distress the edges with Dark Brown Chalk Ink before adhering it to the top of the right hand corner of the card front.  With Tuxedo Black Memento Ink stamp the vines image from the Jars and Vines Stamp Set and die cut it with the coordinating Jars and Vines Die.  Cut off several leaves and glue them to the apples in the "Just Picked" image.  Add Silver Rhinestones Swirls Finesse to the top and bottom of the card cutting to fit as needed.  On Cryogen White Paper stamp the apple image from the Apple Harvest Stamp Set with Tuxedo Black Ink and color with Copics.  Die cut with Labels Thirty Nine Die, keeping out the leaf on the left hand side.  With Dries Clear Adhesive add Crystal Glitter to the leaves in the colored image and to the "Just Picked" printed image.  Matte colored image on red design paper that has been die cut with Labels 39 Decorative Elements and adhere to card front with pop dots.  Create bow and add it to the right side of ribbon and insert Pearl and Rhinestones Pins in bow.
